So this day resident services was re-opened. And Isabelle joined.

Then Tom Nook said something which made me go "WHAT?!"

Oh okay.

Anyway then when I left my house Nate came bounding out of nowhere and gave me a gift and thanked me for saying hi to him when he arrived. What a sweetheart.

Uh what the heck Nate?!?!

Idek what to do with it. The theme of my island is cheese! CHEESE! THIS WOULD BE GREAT FOR A SPOOKY TOWN.

I found this one the ground near my garden. It was called a something guardian. Idk if my friend left it for me or if it was the game. It whirs and glows when you touch it. I'll get a video sometime. It's also a little spooky.

I caught a honeybee which was exciting because I kept missing before.

I didn't know you could talk to two people at once. Also Rocket = confirmed permaculturist?

I maxed out the pocket organizing thing and have more space now. I also got the custom design stuff because I thought it would let me download designs (not yet it turns out) and the pro camera thing out of curiosity. The Tom and Isabelle pic is with the pro camera app. Also Isabelle is kind of hilarious, she makes funny faces.

Tom Nook gave me some new tasks.

He gave me a campsite pack to place and some DIY recipes that I wasn't sure what to do with since he didn't give any instructions regarding those. I also got a bridge building kit so I could place the campsite somewhere not crowded.

Then I went to the museum to turn in the honeybee and there was an event for International Museum Day. I was approving of his less damning opinion on the bee.

I got all my stamps I thought but it turned out there were more around. I got the main ones though. I thought it was funny that the comment about the evolutionary tree with the villager silhouettes were basically my friend and I's comment. Do you not know?!

I updated the flag. I wish I'd done so before the ceremony. Eventually I hope to download a custom design, but for now this works.

And the bridge dude wanted donations from the villagers but I didn't know how much they would donate and I just wanted it done, so I paid for it all.

I don't think I played till later and I'm pretty sure my last (for the beginning of the game) new resident had moved in....

But all I have are these updates.

And I got this new bed that my friend had told me lets you visit other islands. (but not interact with them)

I think since resident services was closed I was mostly focusing on getting all my tools and backup tools. Then I realized I could craft a crafting station and relaxed.

Rocket's room is coming together.

And here's my new resident! It's Shino. I guess she's fairly popular, or at least used to be? I like her. She has a cool vibe.

Nate's place is looking good. He's supposed to be lazy type but he seems pretty industrious to me. I made those cherry things. He gave me a DIY recipe and apologized for getting cookie grease on it.

This is later in the day now. I gave Flip that fish. Regret. His room is coming together too.

Nate gave me another DIY recipe.

This is Merengue's place. I was introducing my friend to my villagers.

Then I went to his island and met most of his villagers. This hippo asked me if I had taken a shower....and finished with a smooth recovery. My friend doesn't like him very much. I think he's kind of hilarious.

We realized this one had about the same room as Merengue.

This guy was cool. He was an old monkey. He gave me and my friend a DIY recipe.

This is the point where in typing this I realized I had gone into the next day. So this is now two days worth of update.

Anyway, Cherry acted like she had met me before but then said jk I was just messing with you, I heard someone talking about you.

My friend was excited because he hadn't seen Ketchup's rain gear before.

My friend was showing custom designs he had downloaded and then got some bad face paint stuck to his face and couldn't get rid of it. He was struggling even after I left his island. It was pretty funny. I don't know what happened after. Maybe it's still there.

Shino asked something like what's my favorite drink and it had me type something in for the first time.

Not too much to report for this day.

I got my Mona Lisa painting. And it was the genuine article. Blathers accepted it. Lucky!

Then I saw someone had moved in.

I wasn't sure about him at first to be honest, but he's grown on me.

I bought a rug from this camel........

I was hoping to see Merengue's place but she was out sweeping the dirt.

I got the tool ring. It's alright. My friend said as much. I'm mainly hoping it helps with catching wasps since the net is the first item.

Then I played tomadachi life and hung out with my partner over facetime. When I got back Merengue was still sweeping the dirt.

Nate was still unpacking.

I caught some stuff in the sea and another scorpion which I sold for around 6000 bells I think at the drop box.

So this is for Thursday 05-14.

First the announcements.

I'll show her later. This was my room up to that point.

I caught a lot of new bugs and fish this day so I won't show all those. Anyway, I met Harv.

Then I checked out Merengue's place. She's my first moved in villager so I hadn't seen what the place would look like on arrival.

I like the wall color. This is the outside of her house.

Then I met this fox. My friend had warned me about him.

Flip gave me a recipe. I don't have the flowers yet though.

We had a dedication ceremony for the bridge. All my villagers are there up to that point.

Rocket wanted to spruce the island up since people were moving in so she gave me this to place.

I gave Rocket a locust I think out of curiosity. I was surprised a few days later to see it there and kind of regretted it.

Her place is nice too so far.

Then I went to the fox's place. I ended up getting the Mona Lisa.

I caught a centipede or something and was happy because it was hard.

Rocket told me about her weird dream while Flip sang in the background. I approached wondering what the heck was going on. They were both singing. It was hilarious and cute.

I went to Harv's island and took pics.

The dodo was extra inscrutable that day.

Then I caught the biggest fish I had gotten.

And a shitton of deep sea creatures.

So I started and I was seriously wondering if Gulliver still hadn't gotten picked up because he was on the title screen again.

It opened with announcements that we had a new museum and shop open.

Then Tom Nook got a mysterious phone call. I'd add the video but it was windy so the audio kinda sucks.

I got some letters. The first was about turnip sunday which I ended up missing later somehow. I wonder what the hours are.

The second was from Gulliver. He made it back after all. I forget what he gave me.

I guess this must be the day my villagers got their houses because I took pics of the outside of both. The first is Flip's, the second is Rocket's.

And here's the new museum. It's a bit sparse but it'll fill up eventually.

Then I caught Tom Nook on the phone again. TALKING TO POTENTIAL NEW VILLAGERS!

But of course there was a catch.

He wanted me to do all the work. So I had to make the furniture and set up the bridge and all this crap. It actually wasn't a big deal. Well, I was a little overwhelmed with the furniture bit at first but it was easier than I thought.

Then we had dedication ceremonies to the museum and shop.

I met Mabel who I guess are the Tanuki youngsters' sister?

I found a message in a bottle. I was wondering if they were from other villagers and then this one was from Agent Master Crafter or something so I guess not. And then I got the Pocket Organization guide so I have more space now. Oh and a ladder and slingshot.

AND THEN I FINALLY CAUGHT A SCORPION. AHAHAHAHA. VENGEANCE.

Ide remember what Blathers was talking about. I wonder if it was the scorpion.

And I think Rocket gave me some reactions so I could use those now.

So my museum is in construction. I think it'll be ready tomorrow. By the evening my house storage was bursting. It's not all the way full but I do have a lot of things to donate. I don't know how quick the museum upgrades work and if they're based on donations, but if they are I'll have made some serious headway.

I forget what I was doing but I found this character.

His phone was broken. You can kinda see it in this shot.

I helped fixed his "communicator." I guess it's waterproof. I keep seeing him though and talking to him and his folks still haven't picked him up.

I found two messages in a bottle with DIY recipes, but I had gotten a lot and can't remember which were from the bottles.

Then I found this adorable rhinocerous while I was traveling with Nook Miles to get iron to complete this damn shop. I hadn't known using fruit to power yourself up just destroys the rocks and leaves you with no iron. I had a feeling after I destroyed all the rocks on my island so I googled and yeah. Whelp. Apparently rocks take days to respawn too 🤦🏾

Anyway the rhino is moving onto my island sometime soon.

And here's me catching a Beta fish. Betta fish? I just noticed the expression on my face. Anyway I was shocked because I had recently watched a video of Phil from Dan and Phil Games trying desperately to try and catch a Beta fish because it reminded him of his blue beta fish Norman and he wanted him in game. He didn't have any luck with that. But I caught one just randomly. Hashtag blessed.

I tried to catch another to sell to see if was worth a lot but after checking the bug encyclopedia I saw I had just barely made it in the time frame they're available. So hopefully I'll catch another this season. Maybe I should go for three so I can display it in my room.

Oh yeah, and my shop will be available tomorrow. And I planted some of the oranges, carrots, and pumpkins my friends gave me, apples ‘mom’ gave me, and coconuts from a random island. I also messed up with a money planting spot. I tried to plant some but I did something wrong. I think I know how to do it now though.

And I’m almost ready to pay Tom Nook back for the house. I expect he’ll offer to expand my house and I’ll be back in debt though. I’m wise to his ways now. 🥷

Also, I have better tools now.

I'll upload and update for night time if I play more tonight.

Here's a clip of something that kept happening to me. I keep forgetting to press the run button, but idk if it matters.

Gulliver was still here at around 10pm.

I paid off my loan but I knew what was about to happen.

And that day my main screen was Gulliver wandering the island.

This is from 05-11-26 at night.

I ended up playing with my friend that night. He had never had a visitor in Animal Crossing before and he hadn't logged in for a year and 10 months, as some villager reminded him. Haha.

I took these pics to show him my villagers. I had gotten stung by wasps twice that day. But Rocket gave me a DIY Medicine recipe, so that was nice.

Then we went around his island. It was beautiful! He gave me a bunch of clothes and recipes and items and let me pick fruit. And I got to see his museum. I also got us coffee, kind of forced into it by the bird lol. Also Flip gave me that tulip hat.

His aquarium and butterfly garden was beautiful. We couldn't find the Blue Morpho plaque though, but there were plenty in there.

Then he visited my island but I didn't take pics other than this one. He gave me that hat but I switched back to the tulip hat because my villager gave it to me. I did wear the robes and mage's boots though. I thought it fit the cheese theme I'm tryna go for.

I also helped a ghost called Wisp or something collect parts of their spirit and they gave me a pro recorder or something. I troubleshooted with my friend and showed him this pic of what happens when I click it.

He said I just needed to get cds to upload to it. Cool.

Another funny thing that happened is my friend kept scattering DIY recipes and vegetables around my island and I was confused and excited at first, and then I realized it was him and called him a generous bastard. Then we played tag. I lost because I saw he had dropped carrots and beelined for them and then he got me. A trap.
