Ingredients: 16 oz elbow macaroni. 4 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese. 2 cups shredded Gouda cheese. 2 cups shredded white cheddar cheese. 4 cups milk. 1 cup heavy cream. 1/2 cup unsalted butter. 1/2 cup all-purpose flour. 1 tsp garlic powder. 1/2 tsp paprika. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Cook macaroni according to package instructions, then drain and set aside. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook for 2 minutes to make a roux. Gradually whisk in milk and heavy cream until smooth. Stir in garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Add shredded cheeses, stirring until melted and smooth. In a slow cooker, combine cooked macaroni and cheese sauce. Stir well to coat macaroni evenly with cheese sauce. Cover and cook on low for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally. Serve hot, garnished with additional shredded cheese if desired.
