#check-up

Dear Gus & Magnus,

Gus had his four-year check-up today. I didn't catch how tall his is, but he weighed about 37 pounds and passed his vision and hearing test. He's clocking in around the 60th percentile in all the size categories. The most impressive thing about the check-up, though, was how he handled the four shots he got in his legs. I told him they were coming and he never sweat them. Even after the nurse brought out the needle, he watched her and gave a nervous giggle after about the third one, but otherwise he was good to go. I was so proud of him. (To celebrate, we hit up Loblolly, of course.)

It feels like we were just here to see Dr. Wilson for the first time, and today we said goodbye to her because we're switching to Dr. Strong. We liked Dr. Wilson a lot, but it doesn't make sense to drive all the way to Sherweird.
