Your breathing was ragged, pulse vibrating along the walls of your skull. Dragona was just stabbed and you, along with the others, were currently trying to avoid a similar fate.

——————————————————————For some context; after getting sent on a mission by Meryl Mei (your boss) to steal a diamond from some bizarre rich mangaka named Rohan Kishibe, and finding some sort of mysterious lava rock. You and the gang were jumped by 3 evil ass cats with stands and are now against the owner (who is also a stand user). Said man, was almost responsible for Dragonas injuries and seemed to merge with his surroundings, making it harder to predict his attacks. Although Paco mentioned the enemy's knife skills were...pretty shit to be blunt, in your eyes, that didn't make him any less threatening..

Pacos P.O.V:

Damn it that asshole! He slashed my ankle, I need to locate him before he attacks agi-!! His thoughts were rudely interrupted with a slash to the ankle and a knife to his throat. If he wasn't in a state of shock and agony, h might have heard Dragona yelling out to him. This is it. This is the end. He thought. As he braces for the perceived inevitable he heard a loud honk, snapping him out of his "final moments" and focusing in on the car speeding towards them.

You're P.O.V:

"PACO! MOVE!" You shouted, all the noise alerted the raven haired attacker, causing him to let go of Paco in favor of not becoming roadkill, which was unfortunately (for him), in vain. You slowed down a bit in fear of Paco getting caught in the cross fire and swerved into the enemy, hitting the brakes so you wouldn't crash. The impact knocked the air out of you but thankfully didn't release the air bag. After collecting yourself you looked up to see the man you had just hit with your (stolen) car, is now missing. He most likely used his ability to hide again so he could recover.

Ignoring the shouts of your comrades, you rushed out of the car and cautiously reviewed your surroundings. After a few moments, you turned to say something to Paco, or maybe Jodio? Whatever it was, you didn't get the chance to say it, as the feeling of a sharp slash to your back and an iron grip on your hair cut off any other senses you had. The man, now visible, dragged you into the water. You were wounded, unarmed and vulnerable.

"...I was kind enough to give you a chance to give up on the lava rock." The man suddenly spoke before attempting to slit your throat. You barely dodged and could see that this wasn't a fight you were going to win. As your lungs screamed for air and the adrenaline shot throughout your body like signals to the brain. You remembered something someone once told you, what was it again? 'desperate times call for desperate measures?'. Well you sure are desperate and now is do or die. You didn't think twice to go for a "low blow". He was almost as shocked as you, grunting in pain as he reached for his now injured crotch. You maneuvered behind him and put 'em in a choke hold in an attempt to drown him...which failed as Paco and Jodio dragged you both out of the water.

Fast forward to now and you sat at the airport with the strange man, Jodio, and Paco while Dragona and Usagi gift shopped. "What sorta music have you been listening to lately" Jodio said, to which the recently tamed enemy responded with "uhh, SIA, H.E.R, and SZA.". You were surprised and immediately spoke up "No way! You listen to H.E.R too?!" You even almost felt bad for kicking him in the crotch and trying to drown him...almost , you weren't quick to forget what he did to you all. Paco interrupted us "Hey! Forget music! Ain't there, like a whole ton of stuff y'all ought to be askin' him?! C'mon, like who he is, for example?!" "Oh, yeah. let's start with a name." You and Jodio said in unison before the man himself spoke

"Charming Man. I'm 22."

"That's a name?" Paco said, before

You decided to chimed in, "Like The Smiths song?" There were many questions, but in the end, you all brought him along on the trip back to O'ahu.

On the plane:

You were seated next to Charming man. The tension was thick enough to cut, you both had your grudges and they weren't very hidden. However, you were told to play nice. So, to start some type of truce, you took out your device and plugged in your earphones, offering him one. He scrunched his nose in disgust and hesitated. "It's clean asshat. Take it or leave it. But know that I won't offer this again."

With that tone and our history, seriously? Why on gods green earth would I?- My thoughts were interrupted by the tale tale sound of a child whining

"But mooommm~ I wanna use it for five more minutes!~ It's not fair! I hate this stupid trip! I wish I was with dad! He would let me use my iPad all day!"

.......God damnit.

I reluctantly took the earphone from their hand and placed it into my ear, at the very least it was the type of earphone that had a gummy and not one of those hard ones that made your ears sore. But I still felt the need to be a smartass.

"If your playlist is ass I swear-."

"Just shut up before I start playing Kid Rock".
