One of the Omniverse Crew said Charmcaster is married to Hobble by the 10k era and I'm pretty sure it was joke but I'm going to take it as canon because it's really funny partly because Hobble is the catch in that relationship. He's a high ranking plumber, has worked closely with Hero of Heroes Ben Tennyson and was integral to stopping the Vladats from retaking the Anur System. Meanwhile she's a career criminal and former genocidal despot. Hobble may be an alien bug but who knows by his species standards he might be super attractive.

You know what could make Charmcaster growing up to have the bravery and skill to go back home and try to win a battle she has likely been taught was a suicide mission and Hex's cowardice in not going after her despite the fact that he literally taught her those skills even sadder? :D

all the while Hex being the one of the two to actually know what their home dimension used to look like before it became unsalvageable, what its people used to be like before they all either ran, died or got enslaved, yet choosing to be haunted by memories and grief rather than giving his own home or his own niece- one of his own people, the last member of the family he too lost, the one he was in charge of protecting and keeping close- a proper fighting chance, ultimately choosing to do nothing about it.
