calling green yuri "green yuri" was its downfall bc the manga is abt "the guy she was interested in wasn't a guy at all", but we know now that mitsuki is not a guy & the premise is resolved, so sumiko is just coming up with stuff on the spot for the sake of continuing the internet sensation "green yuri". i feel like this was supposed to be a shorter story with a smaller plot, but the hype just forced sumiko to keep writing a story that was just supposed to be simple & sweet, & i still don't understand why they have to publish a chapter every other week, when fans keep getting disappointed & sumiko could just figure out a better plot with more time. or maybe reality is, there was really never meant to be more plot than mitsuki not being a guy
