♫ chapagetti ♫
as a person who also sings about their food and was considering making chapagetti for dinner this very night, i find this moment one of the most relatable things i've ever seen in any drama i've ever watched 🤣

chapagetti (does anyone know how to make it taste better? it’s too bitter for me :< )
Binging with Babish: Ram-Don from Parasite [source]
“Rarely does a dish serve as such a central metaphor for a film's primary conflict: in Parasite, boujee beef sits oppressively atop bargain noodles in the Park family's version of Ram-Don, the way they sit so literally atop others. Although Parasite reminded me how much I love galbi jjim, it’s only recently that I realized the “ram-don” scene was based on an actual thing. I *may* have decided to pick up Korean BBQ for dinner tonight just so I could hit the Korean market and grab a few packs of noodles to cook this weekend. (There are other recipe videos out there, but there’s only one Maangchi!)
