For the past 7 years writing has been one of the biggest parts of my life, it’s a part of me I cherish and adore since it has allowed me to explore a creative side of me I am forever proud of.
But, for the past year or so I’ve experienced what I initially thought to be numerous writer blocks, pushing myself to keep creating, to keep imagining, to keep writing when in reality there was more to it. Even though it took me time I came to the realization writing is no longer such a big part of me. What I once used as an escape from my reality, what were once stories I would zone out to and imagine to make life a little more bearable...aren’t needed anymore. It’s so bittersweet, I will never regret being able to experience this, create and share but I am equally so proud of myself for identifying and being able to reclaim something that recently I was no longer doing for myself but to please others.
I am eternally grateful for giving myself the chance to explore this part of me and share it with the world. I am also so grateful for every single reader here, weather you got to know my work through my Draco fics, or my Jay Halstead fics, my Druig fics or my most extensive work yet my F1 fics either on Wattpad or Tumblr THANKYOU.
What does this mean for @changetyre?
Is this the end? No. I’m not quite ready to completely close this chapter of my life but it does mean the time I spend writing will decrease significantly.
I have stories I want to finish, new imagines I want to write but all AT MY OWN PACE. Which means posting frequency will be very irregular because;
I’ll write when I feel inspired and I’ll post IF I feel like sharing.

I'll never forgive myself II Mafia!Carlos Sainz X Reader
SUMMARY: Despite reaching out to you after blowing up for the incident with his son Carlos notices things are different with you, you become distant and he tries to find a way to mend things. Part 1 HERE
WARNINGS: angst/comfort.
A/N: Sorry for the late reply ;)
Carlos stood by the large window of his office, the city's skyline shimmering in the distance, but his thoughts were far from the beautiful view. His hands were tucked deep into his pockets, his shoulders tense. The room was silent, except for the occasional ticking of a clock on the wall, yet the quiet only made his thoughts louder. It had been days since the incident with Emanuel, but the image of you protecting his son while narrowly escaping harm still gnawed at him.
He had yelled at you. Blown up in a way that wasn't just harsh but cruel, completely disregarding your health and emotions. Even though he'd apologized, you hadn't been the same since.
Your name echoed in his mind now with every moment of your absence. You had become like a shadow in the house, moving through the halls quietly, barely speaking unless spoken to. You said you'd forgiven him, but he knew better than anyone that forgiveness didn't chase away the hurt.
He hated seeing you like this.
The guilt was worse than any business deal gone wrong, and betrayal he'd experienced before. Carlos had learned to control his emotions over the years, to never let weakness show. But when it came to you, that control seemed to crumble. He found himself thinking about the way your eyes darted away from him now, the way your voice grew smaller, quieter whenever he entered a room.
Even now, you were upstairs with Emanuel. Carlos could hear his son's laughter faintly echoing through the walls. You'd always had a way with Emanuel, a deep connection with him and it filled Carlos with both gratitude and envy.
Emanuel was naturally drawn to you like no one else, not even to Carlos himself. Your gentleness, your quiet strength, those were qualities Carlos admired, qualities he'd hoped Emanuel would learn from you among others.
He pushed himself away from the window and walked toward the door. This needed to change. He needed to change it.
Upstairs, You sat on the floor with Emanuel playing with his toy cars. His giggles were infectious, and you couldn't help but smile softly, even though your heart still ached with the memory of the incident. Emanuel was your light in the house, the one constant that made everything else bearable.
"Vroom!" Emanuel zoomed a car across the bedspread, his dark hair falling into his eyes reminding you of his father. He glanced up at you. "y/n are you okay?" he asked.
Your heart warmed at his caring personality, always attentive, gentle, and sweet. You smoothed a hand over his hair. "I'm fine, Manu. Just thinking that's all."
"You think a lot," he said innocently, his big brown eyes watching you just like his dads. "Daddy thinks a lot, too," he commented as he slid the car around.
At the mention of Carlos, your stomach tightened. The memory of his anger after the incident still felt fresh, even though you knew he hadn't meant to lash out like that. He was protective of Emanuel, fiercely so, and in his world, the dangerous world that he lived in, fear often manifested as anger. But that didn't make the actions hurt any less.
Emanuel climbed into your lap, his little arms wrapping around you. You hugged him tightly, inhaling the familiar scent of his shampoo. You had been with him since he was just a baby, through every milestone. He was more than just your charge. He was like your own child, in some ways.
"Daddy's sorry, you know," Emanuel mumbled against your shoulder as if he could read my thoughts. "He told me."
You felt a pang in your chest. "I know, Manu." I kissed the top of his head. But knowing something wasn't the same as feeling it.
Carlos lingered in the hallway, just outside Emanuel's room. He could hear his son talking to you, and a pang of jealousy stirred within him. Emanuel was so open with you. There was something about the way you nurtured him, soothed him, that often made Carlos feel inadequate as a father.
He hadn't meant to overhear the conversation, but once he did, it was impossible to ignore the tightening in his throat. Emanuel was defending him, telling you that he was sorry. A child shouldn't have to do that. Carlos had to fix this now.
He knocked softly on the door before stepping inside. Emanuel beamed when he saw him.
"Daddy! Look! I made a race track!" he cheered excitedly.
Carlos smiled, though his attention was more on you, who had quickly averted your eyes and stood, gently easing Emanuel off your lap.
"That's a great track, buddy," Carlos said, ruffling his son's hair. His tone was light, but his gaze stayed fixed on you, trying to gauge your reaction.
You were quick to busy yourself by tidying up Emanuel's toys, your movements quiet and careful, as though your were trying to avoid him entirely.
"Y/n," Carlos called you, but you didn't meet his eyes.
"I'll give you two some time," You murmured, already heading toward the door.
Carlos's jaw tightened. He hated this distance, the way you were slipping away from him. The connection that had only just begun to get deeper it felt like it was fading.
Before he could say anything else, you were gone, leaving him alone with Emanuel.
The next few days passed in a blur of careful avoidance. You were always around, tending to Emanuel, fulfilling your duties with the same love you always had. But with Carlos, you were different.
You kept your distance, your words short and polite. It felt like a wall had been built between them, and every time Carlos tried to break through it, you retreated further.
But he didn't give up.
Little by little, he tried showing you how much you meant to him not with grand gestures, but with small, thoughtful acts.
For example, one morning, he noticed you hadn't eaten breakfast before tending to Emanuel, so he left your favorite pastry on the kitchen counter, along with a note that simply read:
For you.
Love, Carlos.
You hadn't said anything, but he saw the way your eyes softened just a little when you saw it.
Another time, he made sure to leave a fresh bouquet of flowers on the small table by the door you always passed when coming in from your afternoon walks with Emanuel. The flowers were the same kind you had mentioned in passing once, months ago, when you were cuddling together late at night, talking about nothing in particular. He remembered every detail.
Slowly, he began to break through.
One evening, as the sun began to set, Carlos found you in the garden with Emanuel. The boy was chasing butterflies, his laughter filling the air. You sat on a bench, your gaze following Emanuel with that same tender smile that always seemed to grace your face when you were with him.
Carlos approached quietly, sitting beside you. You initially stiffened for a moment but didn't move away. A small victory Carlos thought.
"Y/n " he began softly. "I miss you."
Her hands stilled in her lap, her eyes fixed on Emanuel. "I'm here."
"You're here," he agreed, his voice low. "But not with me. Not like before."
You didn't answer right away. The silence stretched between you, heavy and charged. Finally, you spoke, your voice barely above a whisper. "I guess I was more hurt than I let on, Carlos. When you yelled at me like that... I was terrified, wracked with guilt and I guess I expected... I expected a little comfort from you as well."
Carlos clenched his fists, the weight of his guilt settling over him like a suffocating blanket. "I know. I'm sorry. More than you know."
For the first time in days, you turned to look at him. His brown eyes were full of pain, but there was something else there too, something softer, more vulnerable.
"It's not just about the yelling Carlos. It's about what it means. I care about Emanuel more than anything in this world, I wouldn't do anything to put him in harm's way intentionally and I would give my own life to protect him...and I thought you... trusted me."
"I do trust you," he said, his voice urgent. "With my life. With Emanuel's life. What happened... it just scared me. I reacted badly, but it wasn't because I didn't trust you. I panicked when I saw the scratch on Emanuel's head, when I saw you on the floor, I...I let fear take over."
Your expression softened slightly, though the tension in your posture remained. You studied him momentarily, your gaze searching his face for something, truth, perhaps. Understanding. Maybe both.
"I hate this," Carlos said quietly. "I hate seeing you like this. I hate that I hurt you. I don't want us to be like this. I need you back."
Your eyes shimmered, a ray of sun hitting your eyes perfectly as the sunset, and for a brief moment, he thought he saw a crack in the wall you had started building around yourself.
"I don't want that either," you admitted softly.
He reached out then, gently taking your hand in his, locking his fingers with yours. You didn't pull away, and the warmth of your skin against his felt like home.
"I'm not good at this," he said, his thumb brushing over your knuckles. "But I want to be better, for you. For Emanuel. I care about you. More than I've let you know."
Your breath hitched slightly, your eyes widening. "Carlos..."
He squeezed your hand, his voice soft but firm. "I mean it. I love you."
For a moment, you just looked at him, your heart beating at lightning speed at his words. Then, slowly, she nodded. "Me too."
It was just two words, but to Carlos, it felt like everything.
From that moment on, things began to change. The distance between you gradually shrank, piece by piece. Carlos continued to show you, through quiet actions and gentle touches, how much you meant to him. He wasn't perfect, and there were still moments of tension, but you were finally moving forward together.
Not like this (P10) II Charles Leclerc x Reader (Mafia AU)
SUMMARY: After losing everything you seek out your biggest and longest-standing enemy to finish it all.
WARNING: Violence, blood, mentions of death, slow burn.
A/N: Better late than never...
As you sped away into the night, tires screeching against the damp pavement, the silence in the car seemed louder than that of the gunfire you'd just escaped. You kept your gaze trained forward, unwilling to betray any hint of the turmoil in your mind. You never meant to drag him into this mess, yet here he was, determined to help you when he could have easily abandoned you or killed you.
You hadn't spoken a word since you'd bolted from his place, the weight of unspoken thoughts hanging heavily in the car. Finally, he broke the silence, voice low but tense.
"Did you let anyone see you? In your little escapade?" he asked his grip tight on the steering wheel, eyes fixed on the road.
You glanced at him, unsure whether it was anger or something else. "No. I was careful Charles."
His jaw clenched. "You're sure no one caught even a glance?"
"I don't know," You replied honestly, averting your gaze. "It's possible Charles...I-I don't know."
He scoffed. "You don't know..." he repeated your words.
"Charles I told you you didn't have to do this. Are you second-guessing your decisions? Why did you even run with me then?" I questioned him, aware of the building tension between us.
He laughed bitterly. "Good question. Maybe I have a weakness for trouble. Or maybe," he glanced at you, his dark eyes softening as he looked at you, "I'm not as willing to let you go as I should be."
You let out a shaky breath. Your walls, carefully constructed over years of deceit and control, felt dangerously close to crumbling. Here you were, vulnerable and exposed, relying on the man you'd once thought of as nothing but an enemy.
"Pull over," You said abruptly, your voice barely above a whisper.
He shot you a sideways glance, eyebrows knit in confusion. "Are you insane? Do you want to get killed now? They could have followed us you know?"
"Just pull over!" you screamed, your desperation left no room for argument.
Reluctantly, he guided the car to a secluded side street, the engine growing silent. You leaned forward, your head in your hands, and your breathing was uneven.
For a moment, he thought you might be on the brink of passing out, the overbearing weight of everything finally overtaking you. But then you lifted your head, meeting his gaze with a fierceness he hadn't seen in you in a long time.
"You don't get it, do you?" you laughed, a defeated laugh, voice shaking with a mixture of anger.
"Whoever did this to me...whoever is coming after me won't stop. They're cruel. They've already wiped out everyone in my circle, everyone I ever cared about, and trusted. They just came after you too Charles. I'm the last loose end...and anyone who gets close to me becomes a target, you've become a target." you looked him straight in the eyes.
"I'm not exactly a stranger to danger," he replied, his voice calm but with a firmness to it. "You think I haven't faced threats before? I'm not some helpless bystander."
"This is different Charles" you insisted, frustration evident in your voice. "They're organized, smart. They know my moves, my strengths, my weaknesses. And now...they know you're involved."
His expression softened, and he reached over, his hand grasping yours, warm and grounding. "I'm not running away. As I said, we're doing it together...and we'll be ready"
You stared at him, still confused as to why he was so adamant to stay by your side. For so long, you'd built your life around distrust, convinced that everyone would betray you. But here he was, offering support...and maybe something else she was to scared to face.
"Ok." I nodded looking down at your linked hands, a small sigh of resignation slipping out. "This won't be pretty Leclerc. There's no telling what they'll throw at us next."
He smirked, shifting the car back into gear. "Let them come." His tone was so confident it almost made me believe there was no way we would be defeated.
Charles started driving again, in silence, but it was different this time. The tension that had once simmered between you now felt like something else his hand remained linked with yours and it wasn't awkward. You tried to ignore the way your pulse quickened whenever his fingers brushed against your hand or the way he would use your hand to change gears instead of letting go. You tried focusing on formulating a plan, piecing together the scattered fragments of information you had.
"We need somewhere safe to hide out," he said after a while, breaking her thoughts.
"I know a place," she replied, her voice steady. "But I have no way to tell if it's compromised. Could be dangerous."
"Risks don't scare me." Charles smiled.
You hesitated. "It's an old safehouse on the outskirts of the city, that belonged to my great-grandparents. Hardly anyone knows about it. Or at least I hope."
"We can't keep driving forever. We have to risk it." Charles agreed.
You nodded, Your mind already shifting into a tactical mode, plotting the next steps. If you reached the safehouse, you'd have a chance to gather supplies, and maybe even access some information about who was behind the attack. But a gnawing doubt and fear lingered, that the safehouse was already compromised.
The drive felt endless, the road twisting through darkened streets and deserted alleyways. You drove all night, city lights faded as you moved toward the outskirts, replaced by the eerie silence and loneliness of abandoned buildings. Finally, you arrived, the safehouse looked just like every other abandoned house you'd passed, with no indication of recent activity.
You'd exited the car cautiously, scanning the area for any sign of movement. You led him to a hidden door on the side of the building, taking a deep breath before pressing a series of numbers into a camoflaged keypad. A few seconds passed before a door clicked open, and you both quickly slipped inside, your relief was palpable as the heavy door sealed shut behind you.
The safe house was sparse, a relic from another life. Dust covered the surfaces, and the air was stale, but it was uncompromised. You motioned for him to sit while you searched for supplies, grabbing a first-aid kit from a cabinet in the corner.
"You're bleeding," he noted, his tone a mixture of surprise and concern.
You glanced down, You'd noticed the red seeping through your clothes in the car but chose to say anything knowing Charles would only grow concerned. But the adrenaline was fading, and the pain was creeping up. "I'll be fine. I've handled worse." You waved him off.
He took the kit from your hands, his gaze dark. "Sit down." he ordered.
You relented, allowing him to tend to your deep but minor wound. You couldn't help but be reminded of the night that started it all, Charles's touch once harsh and uncaring now the opposite.
His was careful and precise, and you found yourself studying him, the light furrow of his brows. You once hated him, seeing him as nothing more than an obstacle in her way. But now, as he focused intently on your wounds, you felt a strange warmth bloom in your chest, one you didn't dare acknowledge.
"Thank you," you murmured, your voice barely audible.
He looked up, a ghost of a smile tugging at his lips. "Don't make this a habit." He joked.
"You growing fond of me Leclerc?" You smirked. He stared at you, your gazes locking for a few seconds but he didn't answer.
"We need to figure out who's behind this," he said finally, breaking the silence. "I might have a few contacts who might know something, but it's a gamble."
You nodded. "I might know some people to, it seems whoever is behind this knows I'm not dead so there's no point in trying to stay invisible anymore."
"Then we'll start there." His voice was steady, but his gaze lingered on you, searching. "Are you sure you're ready for this?"
"I don't have a choice," you replied, your expression hardening. "Whoever did this won't stop until I'm dead. I have to face them head-on."
The determination in your voice was fierce, and he couldn't help but feel a surge of admiration. You were stronger than he'd ever accepted, and despite everything, he was glad to be by your side.
It took 3 days. You took turns sleeping making sure someone was always alert, when you were both away you worked together to plan your next steps, to find information. On the third day once it was finally getting dark you set your plan into motion.
You were going to split up, each to contact your own sources, gathering whatever intel you could find. You had insisted it was safer this way, less chance of both of them being targeted at once, he had refuted, adamant on sticking together but you had somehow convinced him despite a part of you hating the idea of leaving his side. You agreed that maximum in a week from now you were to meet here again.
If one of you didn't show up...it was clear what that meant.
"Promise me you'll be careful," you said, surprising yourself with the fragility of your voice.
He gave you a reassuring nod, his hand taking yours in an action that had become familiar. "You too." his grip on your hand tightened. "We're going to get through this." he sighed as if also trying to convince himself of this.
SUMMARY: You and Max have friends from the grid over for a nice family day when they decide to try a trend on you...it doesn't go exactly as planned. Part of the Verstappen Family Verse
WARNINGS: Super short. fluff.
A/N: Another tiktok inspired drabble that I uploaded over on wattpad a while ago ;)
"Hold on a sec can you guys look after the parents please." Lando walked in his phone facing him before he propped it in front of you and Max.
Both of you saw the red icon indicating it was filming you. You looked up as those around you began laughing at your confused faces.
"What is this?" You asked smiling at the joke you weren't getting.
Aside from many other things one of the small factors that made you and Max so perfect for each other was the way you both were so disconnected from the internet even before having Lea and Ivy. It was easy to play viral pranks on you because you both were simply never aware they existed.
"What are we supposed to do?" Max turned around to look for Lando who had disappeared.
"Is this live or something?" You furrowed your brows leaning closer to the camera.
"PAPA! Look at what I drew!" Lea ran towards her dad completely distracting you both from the filming phone.
Lea climbed up on her dad's lap with his help. She held up the drawing showing a childlike depiction of the current scene. Children playing in your garden and her parents, uncles, and aunts sitting around the long table.
"Oh my god Lea this is amazing." Max beamed proudly turning the drawing around to show everyone around the table.
"Wow!" Compliments flew in from all of Lea's favorite people making her shy away and tuck herself in Max's chest.
"Mama I dwaw too." Ivy who was in a faze of copying everything her sister did attempted to climb up your lap. You picked her up placing her on your lap.
"Let's see what you drew my darling." You encouraged Ivy to show you.
She turned around showing a pink circle and a smaller purple circle with a bunch of scribbles of different colors around it.
"Wow, Ivy is that you and Lea?" You asked her pointing at the pink and purple circles knowing pink was Lea's favorite colour and purple hers.
"YES Mama!" She got excited at the fact you recognized her. "This is wando, this is auntie wiwy, this is uncwe Ozzie, this is auntie awex, this is uncwe chawie, this is-" She pointed at every scribble and you were surprised to find she'd matched the color of the scribbles to what they were wearing.
"Wow Ivy good job." Max also complimented his youngest daughter. "I have such talented daughters." The pride in Max's voice made you look at him lovingly.
"Can you guys draw me something for my house?" Dani asked the girls.
"YES!" They both cheered excitedly before shimmying of your laps and running back to their coloring area.
"Me too please!" Charles called out.
"And me!" Oscar called after followed by the others.
Both you and Max turned to look at each other huge smiles on your face. "We might have two artists in our hands." You commented.
Max placed a sweet kiss on your lips. "Maybe a little racer is in here." Max placed a hand on your growing bump, your noses brushing as you both looked at each other in adoration.
"Ugh, you both are too in love for this challenge." Lando walked back to the garden picking up the phone you both had completely forgotten about.
Everyone burst out in laughter as once again Max and you both looked at each other confused.
It's safe to say the f1 world went crazy at the video, a fact you were also too oblivious to.
Size isn't everything (P2) II Carlos Sainz x Bodyguard!Reader
SUMMARY: The tension between Carlos and you continues and it takes one scary moment to bring your feelings to light. Part 2 of this
WARNINGS: Injuries.
A/N: Over on wattpad people requested a part 2 ;)
The following weeks after the club incident were different. Carlos, ever the charmer, had cranked up his flirting to full throttle. He teased you at every turn, leaning into that spark that had flickered between you. His cocky grin was now a near-constant companion, and while you maintained your professional composure, there were moments, brief moments, where Carlos could see your defenses waver.
"Careful, Sainz," you'd warned him one afternoon as you saw him to his hotel room. "You're treading on thin ice."
He leaned closer, his voice a low whisper, "What if I like the cold?"
Your eyes had flicked to his lips before quickly looking away, but he'd caught it. That tiny slip gave him hope.
Despite your best efforts, his persistence was wearing you down. He wasn't just some spoiled racer he was genuinely fun to be around. And though you hated to admit it, you liked the banter. There was a warmth to him, a charm that went beyond his good looks and fame.
Still, you constantly reminded yourself that this was a job. You couldn't get involved with him, no matter how much he made your stomach flutter when he flashed you those big brown eyes.
But Carlos wasn't making it easy.
One evening, after a particularly intense race where he had secured a podium finish, you'd found yourselves on the balcony of his new Monaco home. The sun was setting, casting an orange glow over the city. He leaned against the railing, a glass of champagne in hand, watching you with that familiar playful glint in his eye.
"I have to ask," he began, his tone teasing, "what do you do for fun? Or are you always this serious?"
You'd been scanning the area like you were used to, but turned to him and gave him a deadpan look. "My job is to keep you alive, Sainz. Fun doesn't exactly factor into that."
He laughed, taking a sip of his drink. "Come on, you've got to let loose sometime. You can't be all uptight, all the time."
You rolled your eyes, trying to remain unaffected, but the truth was, you could feel your walls crumbling, piece by piece. There was something about him, something disarming, that made it harder and harder to keep up your professionalism.
"I know what you're doing," you said turning away from his intense gaze. "And it's not going to work."
He raised an eyebrow, feigning innocence. "And what is that?"
You turned back to him, stepping closer, your eyes narrowing slightly. "Flirting."
His grin widened, shameless. "Oh, that? I thought I was being subtle."
This time you failed to hold back the smile. "Ha ha"
He laughed again, that warm, genuine laugh that always made your heart skip a beat. You shifted uncomfortably, trying to suppress the emotions stirring inside you. You couldn't afford to lose focus. Not with him.
"I should go, lock the door." You stepped away before you let your feelings control you.
_____
The race day was a blur of noise and speed. Carlos was locked in a fierce battle for the last podium place, weaving through the track, every muscle in his body tense with focus. You watched from the paddock, your attention split between the live race feed in the garage and the bustling crowd. You never let yourself get too caught up in the race itself though. Your job was to protect Carlos from everything offthe track.
But as the final laps unfolded, an uneasy feeling consumed you. You scanned the crowd, your eyes narrowing when you spotted somone who didn’t quite fit. He was standing just behind the barriers at Parc Ferme, his eyes locked onto Carlos's car as it zoomed by for the cool-down lap.
As the the roar of the crowd filled the air signaling the end of the race you watched as the man moved through the people, his eyes steady on that 3rd place position Carlos would eventually pull into. His body language was tense, and suspicious as he inched closer to where Carlos would soon be.
Your instincts flared. You moved quickly, pushing through the multitude of people running to the podium, your eyes locked on the man.
Just as he climbed out of his car, the man made his move. He broke through the crowd, something glinting in his hand. You reacted quickly, rushing toward the man, and grabbing his wrist firmly. You would do your best to avoid causing a scene, costing Carlos his moment so with a firm grip on the man you quickly shoved him away.
But the man was stronger than he looked, as soon as you'd gotten him away from the crowd, away from the cameras, calling for security, he managed to momentarily slip out of your grasp, the sharp object emerging from his pocket as it came to slice your arm. You had no time to react to the pain as you quickly subdued him, security there soon after ready to cuff the man.
Carlos had embraced his team, he tried to remain happy and cheerful as he received pats and congratulations from those around him but as he looked around not seeing you around set off alarm bells in his head. You were good at your job, and you were good at sticking around unnoticed but he always knew you were there, he always felt your presence and this time he couldn't
He was rushed to give the interviews and proceed to the podium ceremony but that didn't take away from the fact that he was worried, where had you gone?
After the ceremony, Carlos wasted no time asking about your whereabouts only to be informed that "a situation had occurred" which you had to attend to.
"What does that mean?" Carlos tried to learn more only to be shut down.
"She needs stitches she's heading to hospital now." he heard security from the track talking to his team.
"Who needs stitches? Where is she?!" A great feeling of dread invaded Carlos's body. The silence of those around him was enough of an answer to him.
_
“Y/N!” Carlos rushed to you, his voice tight with panic.
"Carlos, what are you doing here?" You asked surprised to see him rush into the hospital room.
"What happened?!" He looked at your blood-soaked sleeve.
“It’s fine,” you said through gritted teeth, cradling your arm. “It’s just a scratch.”
He wasn’t convinced. “You’re bleeding.”
"Not that much, they'll come to fix it soon. Carlos, you need to get back to-"
"I'm not going anywhere" Carlos didn't let you finish.
“I said I’m fine! I’m still alive, aren’t I?” you tried to joke, but there was a slight tremor to your voice.
Carlos wasn't laughing. He held your uninjured hand, his fingers locking with yours. “You shouldn’t have had to do that. You could’ve been-.” he didn't dare finish the thought.
Your defenses kicked back in, but this time, you could see the fear in his eyes. “It’s my job, Carlos. This is what I signed up for.”
He shook his head, he kneeled in front of you. “You got hurt because of me.”
You hesitated, your heart pounding as the truth settled between you. He was right, you'd done this form him. But not because of the job. But because the thought of something happening to him terrified you more than getting hurt yourself.
“It wasn’t your fault,” you said softly.
The doctor arrived, ready to stitch you up. Carlos stayed by your side the whole time, his usual cocky attitude replaced by a quiet, anger. Carlos paced the room but when you'd occasionally wince in pain you saw the way Carlos's eyes increased with sadness.
“Stop blaming yourself,” You said as soon as the doctor left. “This...it happens.”
He stopped pacing and turned to you, frustration evident in his eyes. “You think I’m just supposed to be okay with this? That you can get hurt- because of me? and I’m supposed to just let it happen?”
You sighed, getting up and walking towards him. “It’s not about being okay with it. It’s about understanding that I’m here to do a job, and sometimes that job comes with risks!” Your voice was once again stern.
He closed the distance between you even more, his voice dropping to a near whisper. “I don’t want you risking anything for me.”
You looked away, trying to ignore the weight of his gaze. “Well, that's not how this works.”
There was silence, thick and tense, before he spoke again.
“I care about you." he confessed.
"No-" You avoided his gaze.
"More than you think. And I can’t stand the thought of you getting hurt because of me.” he didn't allow you to interrupt him as he approached you forcing you to face him again.
You froze. This was exactly what you'd feared, why you had tried to keep your distance.
But the look in his eyes, raw and honest, was breaking down every wall you'd had built.
“You're not supposed to care,” you whispered. “This is my job.” You sighed defeated.
He cupped your face. “You think I’m just going to stop caring because you tell me to? You don't have a problem getting hurt for me, but why can't you admit you care about me too?”
Your breath hitched. You opened her mouth to protest, to shut this conversation down before it went any further, but the words wouldn’t come.
Instead, Carlos tucked a strand of hair behind your ear. His thumb brushing over your cheek in the softest of touches.
“Let me in.” He pleaded.
Your heart pounded in your chest, every instinct screaming at you to pull away, to keep things professional. But as he leaned in, his breath warm against your lips, you couldn’t move. You couldn’t think straight, standing so close, his presence was overwhelming.
And when his lips finally brushed against yours, it was like every wall you'd built crumbled in an instant. The kiss was soft at first, hesitant as if he was giving you a chance to pull back.
But you didn’t. You leaned into him, deepening the kiss, letting yourself feel something you'd been trying to deny for so long. His hand slid around your waist, pulling you closer, and you let yourself get lost in the moment, the warmth of his touch, the softness of his lips.

SUMMARY: After the harsh moments you endured with your husband there appear to be better days ahead. Part of the Verstappen Family Verse
WARNINGS: none? Short.
A/N: Lea is 6 and Ivy is 3
Things got better, not easily but they did. Max and you had decided that before anything else you had to talk through the hard months you had endured and also make sure both Lea and Ivy got some sort of explanation and apology for the way they were affected by their parent's miscommunication and being on the receiving end of the pent up anger and frustration.
That's not to say that Max and you spent another second away from each other physically, the same night as Max and you finally spoke you had a passionate night. It was one of the best nights you had perhaps because you'd been longing for each other again for so long, or because of all the emotion involved, or maybe both.
Christmas luckily had been filled with love and joy around the house once more, both Daniel and Lando as well as their families had all spent the night with the family something which both Lea and Ivy had greatly enjoyed.
Flashback **
You let out a deep breath as a soft breeze from the open window woke you up. You could feel your husband's arm wrapped tightly around your waist which immediately brought a smile to your face, weirdly also making you want to cry.
"Morning" You heard Max's hushed voice behind you as he leaned closer burying his face in the crook of your neck.
You giggled at the way his nose tickled your neck but leaned backward and deeper into his arms. "Hi."
"Merry Christmas liefde." He placed a kiss on your shoulder, then one on your jaw, on your cheek, and finally on your lips as you spun around to face him.
"Merry-"
"MAMA PAPA!" Your bubble of romance was interrupted as your screaming children burst into the room.
"Woah!" Max huffed as they jumped on the bed landing on top of him.
"PAPA SANTA CAME!" Lea had a hard time containing her excitement.
"MAMA DEWS PWESENTS!" Ivy giggled happily as she sat on your lap.
"PAPA MAMA COME QUICK!" Lea hopped off her father pulling his arm for him to get up.
"Why don't you go wake up Lando and Dani huh? I'm sure they'll be excited that Santa came." Max tempted the girls who happily obliged with his suggestion.
Despite the interruption, it was a happy and loud morning for everyone.
**
New years had been a little rougher since you'd been feeling a little sick a few days before, which you thought was probably simply from all the food that you'd been eating during the holidays since it'd happened to you before.
But things became much clearer to you a month later. You'd stopped yourself from taking the test, pushing it as far back as you possibly could because you weren't sure how you'd handle another negative test, afraid that you'd lose yourself again.
But finally, you did. You had to. You'd noticed you were becoming distracted and distant, losing yourself in other ways because of the worry of what might be and the stress of making the same mistakes again so you'd simply opted for finding out.
So there you sat, a few days away from Valentine's Day, on the toilet lid staring at the numerous tests on the counter that indicated you were pregnant. There were far too many emotions coursing through your body a mix of joy and complete fear, it was so different from when you found out about Lea and Ivy.
You were unsure of how long you'd sat there, just...staring. But it was long enough to worry Max who'd been left to entertain your girls downstairs.
"Liefde?" You heard him call you from your bedroom.
You simply looked to the door not having time enough to do anything before he'd opened the bathroom door.
"Max" He immediately knew something had happened from the way you said his name so weakily.
"Are you okay wha-" He didn't have to finish his question before his eyes found the tests on the counter.
"I'm sorry I just...I just found out and-" You weren't exactly sure how to handle this, a few months ago both you and Max had been desperately trying for a result like this but not long ago you'd also both decided that this should only happen when both of you were in a better place and even though you had managed that there was still so much to through that it scared you.
"Oh my god." Max's eyes glossed over as soon as he picked up the first test reading its result, quickly picking up another, then another before he let his eyes scan the rest of the tests.
"Max-" You wanted a reaction, you wanted him to say something but he simply stared just like you. "Max." You called him again your voice still just as weak but he finally turned to look at you.
"oh mijn liefde." He pulled you into his arms holding you tightly after noticing your fear and uncertainty.
"I'm scared." you sniffled in his arms being honest about your feelings.
"Shh, we'll be okay...I promise you we'll be okay, this is our little miracle." Max whispered softly to you placing his hand on your stomach.
This only made you cry harder, this time a sense of relief washing over you.
"I love you." He whispered kissing your temple as he continued holding you tightly. "I love you so much."
You cried for a few minutes in his arms before finally looking at him through teary eyes. "We're having another baby." It was like it was finally sinking in for you.
Max couldn't hold back the laugh that rumbled in his chest. "Yes, we are." He rested his forehead against yours, his own tears mixing with yours.
"I'm pregnant again." You closed your eyes finally allowing yourself to accept the truth. A huge wave of relief flooding you this time, of pride and joy.
"Yes, you are." Max laughed, cried, and smiled with you.
"We're gonna be okay." You said to yourself a little louder this time, wiping your eyes.
Max raked his fingers through your hair, placing a soft kiss on your lips. "We're gonna be okay." He repeated with you.
"MAMA!" You heard Lea call for you. "IVY PAINTED PAPA'S TROPHY AGAIN!" You heard her yell after.
Both Max and you looked at each other before bursting out in laughter. "You ready for some more of this?" You jokingly asked your husband.

Attention Who** II Charles x Reader x Lando Ⓦ
SUMMARY: Being used to the constant attention of not one but two men you can't stand it when you get "ignored" by both leading you to do something about it.
A/N: Sorry for taking so long but here it is ;) hope you enjoy xx
Your eyes scrunched as the sun peaked through the curtains hitting your eyes directly. You huffed not ready to get up but knowing it was about time.
Stretching out a little you stretched your arms to the side ready to feel the bodies of your sleeping boyfriends but to your unpleasant surprise, your arms sunk down touching the cold bed instead.
You sat up, your sleepy eyes looking for any trace of them, freezing on the spot for a few seconds hoping to hear them somewhere around the hotel room.
This was odd. No, it wasn't unusual for them to leave you to head to work. But you were certainly used to being woken up to see them off, kisses being placed all over your body, or even woken up by a pleasant feeling between your legs but you got none of that.
In fact, you hadn't even had any of it last night. They had also left you alone in the afternoon, promising to come back to you at night, but you ended up falling asleep alone.
Now it seemed they had come and gone without a trace and it had now been well over 12 hours since you last saw and spoke to your boyfriends.
You grabbed your phone expecting to see a text from at least one of them but once more were sad to realize there was nothing. You would've gotten worried, maybe even more sad if it weren't for the pictures that soon popped up on your timeline of Charles and Lando arriving on track happy as ever.
Your sadness was quickly replaced with anger, not liking one bit of this lack of attention something you had yet to experience since you started dating the boys 5 months ago. This wasn't sitting right with you.
If they didn't want to give you any attention then so be it but you weren't going to make it easy for them. Getting up you took your time getting ready making sure you smelled wonderful, your hair looked shiny, your skin soft, your lips kissable, and your body irresistible with the outfit you picked out for the day.
Your tube top, mini skirt, and kitten heels left little to nothing to the imagination as you happily strolled through the paddock capturing the eyes of many.
You had purposefully arrived just in time for the press conference and media pen interviews to start. Both Charles and Lando were in the media pen today which is where you were headed with a very specific idea in mind.
Due to your uncommon relationship no one in the paddock knew you were dating both Charles and Lando, only aware of the fact you were close to both, a childhood friend to both, which helped the fact that no one batted an eye when you were a little too friendly with other drivers.
This time you knew whose attention you wanted. Arriving at the media pen you saw Charles already doing an interview, his back turned to you while Lando was waiting for his turn.
You saw him notice you, his eyes quickly scanning your outfit and the anger that filled his eyes before he was called to his interview.
You smirked spotting Franco outside the media pen waiting to be called in.
"Hey, I don't think we've met I'm y/n." You introduced yourself. You didn't miss the way his eyes dropped down to your body before meeting your eyes.
"I'm Franco, you know I've always wanted to meet you." He smirked cheekily.
You were a fool not to admit this man had charm. "Why's that?" You added a flirty tone to your voice usually reserved for your boyfriends.
"Well, you seem to have Charles and Lando wrapped around their fingers wanted to see what that's all about." He closed the distance between you both.
You laughed, your cheeks reddening and that's when you felt a second gaze on you. Looking up you saw Charles's eyes on you, his eyes filled with the same anger that filled Lando's. Now you had both their attention.
Your hand flirtily patted Franco's chest. "Well, I'd be happy to show you."
"Hmm, well that's my day made then." Franco smiled as he shamelessly cupped your jaw dragging his thumb across your bottom lip as if to wipe some of your gloss that was out of place.
You were only human, caught in the moment you failed to notice Charles deciding he'd seen enough only snapped out of the moment when you felt him grab your arm.
"Keep your hands to yourself." Charles stepped in between you and Franco.
Luckily for Franco, he was called into the media pen the same second.
"What the f*ck was that?" Charles turned to ask you.
You dismissed him, watching as Franco walked into the media pen looking back to shoot you a look.
Charles cupped your face bringing your attention back to him. "What is this?!"
"What the f*ck are you wearing?" Lando soon joined you standing behind you caging you between them.
You again dismissed the question your eyes back on Franco who had started his interview although his eyes remained trained on you.
"Really?!" you heard Charles scoff before he cupped your cheek once again only this time pulling you into a heavy kiss.
You were surprised, to say the least, unable to resist the action you simply grabbed at Charles's arms waiting for him to pull away, and once he did you had forgotten all about your previous teases.
"Let's go." Lando grabbed your hand.
"The cameras." your voice was small and shy as you looked around seeing the amount of camera that had just captured the moment.
"It's about time they knew who you belong to," Charles smirked this time as he followed after you and Lando whos grip was tight around your hand as he led you away from the pen.
There was no point in you fighting as Lando pulled you into his driver's room Charles quickly stepped in with you as he locked the door behind him.
"Wanna tell us what that little show was about?" Charles asked you as they once again caged you between them.
You shrugged again, leaning back onto Lando's chest to take some pressure off your feet. You felt Lando's arm wrap over your waist his hand resting over your stomach.
"What did we do?" Lando humored you.
You sighed dramatically "More like what didn't you do."
"It's not even noon what could we have possibly done wrong already?" Charles laughed.
"hmm yeah, you're right." you stepped to the side crawling up onto Lando's massage bed giving them a beautiful view of the lace underneath your skirt. "I love going to bed and waking up alone with not a word from my boyfriends, makes a girl feel real special."
"You didn't get dinner with her last night?" Charles turned to Lando.
"No, I thought you would? When I got home you were both asleep already?" Lando asked Charles just as surprised.
"I thought you got dinner with her and hit the gym. Like this morning when you were already gone."
"I was in the shower!" Lando scolded his boyfriend.
"I went to the gym then came to the track!" Charles raised his voice back.
"You didn't drive with her here?!" Lando gasped.
"I'm gonna go find Franco." you got up from the massage bad ready to head back out.
"Don't you dare-" You yelped as you were pulled back onto the massage bed.
"We fucked up the baby but this-" Lando cupped your barely clothed core making you gasp. "uncalled for."
"Our darling doesn't get attention for a few hours and she's already whoring herself out?" Charles tskd.
"You really think that boy can make you cum the way we do?" Lando shoved a finger inside you, swirling it around making your hips buck with it.
"Why don't you give me the chance to find out?" Despite getting the attention you wanted it didn't mean you still weren't pissed off.
Charles laughed. "Nice try."
Before you could bite back you were silenced by your own gasp as Lando came down on you. He didn't waste any time as he licked his tongue all across your pussy before taking the time to flick your clit.
"Is this what you wanted?" Lando momentarily stopped making you whine.
"Stop whining and put that mouth to use." Charles shoved his cock in your mouth as Lando continued licking you out.
You were struggling, struggling to suck Charles as Lando without warning started fucking you relentlessly.
"F*ck let me get inside her," Charles said to Lando as he pulled out causing you to whine again.
"I was almost cummin-" you cried as this was the 4h time Lando had taken you to the edge only to stop.
"Why don't you get Franco to finish the job huh?" Lando teased.
Charles grabbed you, holding you up before sliding under you on the massage bed.
"Pass me my phone and I'll glad-" you were quickly silenced again as Charles slipped into you.
"He'll never get you this full darlin-" Lando kissed one of your ass cheeks before thrusting into your second hole.
"F*CK!" You moaned as there was no prior preparation.
"Sh*t she's soaking me," Charles smirked as your juices started dripping down the base of his cock.
"Pathetic to think she wanted to try this with someone else." Lando laughed.
"I'm gonna cum!" You let your body fall down on top of Charles as your body began to tremble with the oncoming orgasm.
"Should we let her?" Lando teased as he started to slow down.
"NO!" You yelled. "Please please Lan I'll be good I promise. Please-Charlie please let me cum!" You begged your boyfriends your previous confidence replaced with pure desperation.
"She's asked so nicely Lando, and we did fuck up a little," Charles smirked, loving to hear you beg. He pulled your lips to his into a sloppy kiss as they both picked up their pace.
You moaned into Charles's mouth as you came undone, your legs trembling as you momentarily lost control of your body. You could feel as if they both came inside you, filling you up completely. They were right, no one could ever fill you like them.
