FAT REDISTRIBUTION - This one was mostly me realizing how much fat has moved off of my inner thighs! I hadn't even been looking for it and then suddenly happened to notice while bathing! Not sure it gave me euphoria or anything, but it was interesting to see where all the fat redistributes from!
MUSCLE MASS/BUILD UP - I'm trying a new/higher protein intake as well as more physical activity (working out/moving around more/etc) in hopes that I can FINALLY start putting on actual muscle! I am also attempting to see if doing these two things will help my chesticles get even just a LITTLE more smaller/more shaped like pecs if possible? Will keep yall updated if this happens (i dont have a BIG chest but not a SMALL one either so I'm not sure how successful this will be!
VOICE CHANGE - HOLY MOLY! I CAN'T REALLY TELL when just hearing myself speak, but with recorderings and such it's VERY obvious how deep my voice has gotten! It's actually happened a LOT faster than I thought it would!
BOTTOM GROWTH - Nada, but that's okay, maybe soon!
SKIN OILINESS/ACNE - I got bad bacne but in the sense there's a lot, not in the sense it's all...big and popping and such lmao
HAIR - I dunno, it's just doing it's own thing. My facial hair is growing in gloriously, the left side seems to be getting darker while the right side is still lighter. Wtf lmao
APPETITE - Hard to tell cause of the new low sugar/low caffiene/more protein, etc thing I'm doing! But I'm definitely a hungry a lot!
BODY TEMPERATURE - Has calmed down some, thankfully. I got soooo tired of being hot all the time lol
SWEAT - Has also calmed down, thankfully just in time for warmer weather.
SMELL - Not noticeable really, probably cause of the less sweating lmao

Yooooo, there’s a hair on my chin that’s noticeably longer than the peach fuzz on my face! It’s still fair so it’s hard to see, but I think I’m finally starting to grow facial hair! :D
The day before my HRT consultation to start testosterone, my fiancee helped me take "before" photos of what my body looked like before the effects of testosterone.
The plan is to take updated photos exactly one year after the "before" were taken (so June 10th).
I am SO glad that I made the decision to take these photos. Whenever I think testosterone hasn't done anything (dysphoria and doubt are assholes), I look in my transition journal and I am able to see IMMEMDIATELY (by standing in front of my full body mirror) all the changes from the fat redistribution on my hips, arms, thighs, stomach, face, and chesticles, to the body hair growth.
Literally makes me so happy and gives me so much euphoria :D
Dear genetic gods, what do I have to do to get some bottom growth? It's been six months! I've had like two boners and MAYBE the *tiniest* amount of enlarging but ZERO lengthening/enlargement that is noticeable without a doubt (as in, I THINK there has been some in the first month or so I was on testosterone, but there's been NO changes to the point I don't even remember if there was actual growth or just in my head).

There isn't a whole lot to say from the past month but....
My mustache and beard are joining - my mustache is glorious but my beard is patchy and thin, but it's mine and I love it lol. The left side is coming in MUCH faster/better than the right side but it's trying it's best!
My voice has chilled out (not too many cracks) so I am finally starting to find my new...singing pitch? Which is amazing, I've always enjoyed singing (even thought about singing professionally when I was younger lmao).
My belly hair continues to get thicker and darker (seriously, loving it).
My body fat is DEFINITELY redistributing onto my stomach and lowkey (to me at least?) when I'm wearing clothes my stomach helps keep my attention off of my chest (so, lower chest dysphoria!).
I am passing more and more to strangers (and when non-strangers misgender me I'm at that point in appearance where they just come off very, very silly).

LIBIDO - Don't get me started lmao I swear EVERY month it gets higher and higher...and as someone who has never been THAT sexual(ly active)...it's draining to constantly be horny lol
VOICE CHANGE - Ohhhhhhh, I'm finally starting to be able to hear the deeper voice and it catches me SOOO off guard that I just stop talking to listen to myself talk. I've gone this whole time not being able to hear it/mostly still hearing a slightly deeper pre t voice to hearing the changes when I talk and when I sing.
I've got voice cracks AGAIN after not having too many since around mid March. And sure enough right after they started, my voice began to drop again.
BOTTOM GROWTH - I think there might FINALLY be some growth. I'm a little annoyed honestly cause everyone says "it's one of the first changes you'll see" but...no. That's not how it was for me. Unless this is just my genetics...and then I'm wondering how the men in my family are gonna have small dicks...and so many kids lmao
SKIN OLINESS/ACNE - HOLY BACKNE. This hasn't been too awful, honestly, mostly just acne on my back and random pimples on my ass from time to time lol
HAIR (on my head) - My hair feels thicker? But it's hard to tell because my hair grows pretty slow and it's growing back in from having the sides shaved so this might just be more me thinking it's thicker when really it's the same old thin ass hair I've had my whole life lol
HAIR (everywhere else? lmao) - Tummy hair is dark and glorious, still pretty short though. Back hair is still minimal but darkening. Not much leg hair, honestly. It started growing in a few months ago (before testosterone I barely had ANY leg hair at all except around my ankles some, and then seems to have stalled as there haven't been any changes since about the 5th month mark. Arm hair is the same as before t except for my upper arms where I rub my gel.
APPETITE - Has SUCKED! But this is tied to my insomnia (me not sleeping and being exhausted and not having the energy to eat/be hungry, etc), as well as my ADHD/anxiety/depression. It hasn't been a fun month for the mental health.
BODY TEMPERATURE - Nothing too crazy, I am able to handle cold better. That is, it takes longer for it to start to bother me (I have poor circulation in my hands so my hands get cold sooooo quickly and then the rest of me gets cold, unfortunately. I work in a grocery store cooler 5 days a week for practically my entire shift soooo it's a struggle).
SWEAT - Same as body temperature, nothing too crazy lately. I've never really been a sweaty person and it got a bit much in the first few months on testosterone but seems to be calming down.
SMELL - Nothing note worthy here. Use deodorant and shower, folks lmao I haven't been in too many situations to really be smelly, but I'm sure with the weather warming and Summer approaching that's gonna change - especially since I have big plans to do some outdoor things this summer (trails/nature photography/etc).
OTHER/FUN FACTS
No period since July 1 2025 (thank goodness)
My top surgery IS being put off so my fiancée and I can save up for a house (so I hopefully don't have to pull AS MUCH from my 401k to do so - I'm getting a different job soon hopefully which SHOULD pay more so that'll hopefully help tremendously)
I keep a tampon in my pocket when I'm in public because I've hit the point in my transition that if my period randomly returns and I don't have some sort of "hygiene product" on me, I will have a mental breakdown. Like, I already know I will.
A cis guy I know is only 5 foot 3 and so that actively helps me talk myself out of height dysphoria
An ex of mine who I dated off and on from 2013 to 2020 MAY be a trans woman (I heard this from their mother and not from them) and as a trans man myself, things about that relationship are becoming clear and I hope *she* has a happy, safe transition.
