I waited in the cold for more than an hour at the entrance of Chamberi station. The tour reservation were all full on that day, so I had to try my luck if any no-show. Well all worth it. The ghost station was truly special and beautiful. The 1919 original Madrid Metro station was shut in 1960s after Madrid Metro did the major platforms extension to hold more passengers. Because of its close proximity to Bilbao and Iglesia stations, chamberi was decided to be closed down. Only in 2008, it was reopened as a museum
