To say that Chloe had been having a tumultuous life experience was an understatement. She had been getting through work all right, but she was having more bad days than good. And unfortunately, some things would get pushed to the side. “Thank you for agreeing to meet with me, Fae,” Chloe said, fidgeting with her hands. She had suggested they meet at Wish You Were Beer because she wanted to support Lyric, and also because it seemed like a welcoming atmosphere. She would find out if that was true soon enough. Drumming her hands on the table lightly, she kept talking. “I am so sorry that I couldn’t figure out how to make the times work until now, and then accidentally put it off, but... I’m really just glad to meet you. I’ve loved getting to know HJ, and I’m so excited to spend this time with you.” She didn’t mention that she was unsure about how long she would be gone from her trip.
