cfwheels: Create an XML feed
I was going back and forth trying the old ways of creating XML feeds from with ColdFusion. First I used the cfxml tag, then tried the super old method of cfsavecontent, and spitting out just the parsed xml as a string. Just as I was pulling out my hair, I found this post on Stack Overflow. Needless to say, cfwheels has amazed me again. Something that used to be such a pain is now so mind numbingly easy to do. TL;DR;, you make sure to specify that you want to provide XML, and then tell it which var you want to renderWith. Create the .xml.cfm view in the view folder, and specify the xml format in your URL. I love you cfwheels. :)
