Crystals were an early obsession for me, going back to the first collector's set my dad brought me from Las Vegas. I was 6 years old. All the pretty colors and textures! I wanted to touch them all the time and usually did, lol. Over time, my collection grew. I liked the way they felt and made me feel. I started learning about crystal healing properties around age 11 or 12, eventually becoming a certified crystal healing practitioner. I still feel happy when I "hang out" with my crystals and you will rarely find me without some in a pouch in my purse, in jewelry or in a pocket. Pyrite is my buddy today. When I looked through my collection for the stone I needed to bring with me today, this pyrite heart drew me in strongly. I love how heavy it is and smooth in my hand. The energy brought me to a peaceful, protected place. Here is more about pyrite...
