Periquito-rei (Eupsittula aurea), também conhecido como jandaia-coquinho, uma ave psitaciforme facilmente reconhecida pela testa alaranjada ou amarelada e pela face azulada.
Mede cerca de 29 cm de comprimento e apresenta plumagem predominantemente verde, com o ventre verde-amarelado e um anel ocular branco bem destacado.
É comum em áreas de cerrado, caatinga e bordas de matas no Brasil, alimentando-se de sementes, frutos e coquinhos. Vive geralmente em casais ou pequenos bandos barulhentos, sendo muito ativo durante o dia.
