First version was here made in 2011. I didn't end up wearing it out anywhere tho.

This one was made primarily with white and black satin. I really wanted to have clean seam lines, so there is a high waist and the bottom torso and skirt are just strangely shaped godet panels, basically. I wish that I had worn it with a petticoat, because in photos you can see the hard lines of my hoop skirt. Otherwise I'm pretty happy with it. The sleeves had the pearls hand sewn on, and the underside of the strap is thin velcro so I can attach the feather cap sleeve. I wanted to make sure the dress was easily washable since it is white, and would definitely need it after each wearing.

I wanted the headband to have some charm to it, so I painted a base headband black and put white lace over it for texture. Then I used more feathers going up one side for detail. The feathers on the headdress and sleeves, as well as the giant back bow are all rhinestone by hand. That was probably the most fun part of making this outfit.

Since I fit the Disney stores Cinderella shoes, I bought them and took off the tacky Cinderella cameo. It's so fun because they light up haha. The gloves are standard, but I have thought of making my own to make the outfit more interesting.
