When that happens, you’ll know fairly soon since you’ll likely encounter some of the most common cell phone problems. Fortunately, most of them can be remedied fairly easily though experiencing too many of these issues may mean you should look for service from another provider.

Slow Processing Times A lot of business people love the fact that today’s phones act as mini computers of sorts. They can go online and allow their users to handle many transactions without being at a desk or behind a computer. Unfortunately, however, cell phones often “slow down” after a while and can cause your phone to freeze up when it’s online. Or, even worse, your phone might become painfully slow at loading webpages and other apps and programs.

A slow phone can be due to lots of problems. You might not have enough free space left in your internal memory, or your plan might be one that only gives you high speed data up to a certain point, and then switches you to lower data speeds. Viruses can also sometimes be the cause of slow processing.

The trick is to find out what’s to blame for your slow cell and then have the service provider fix the problem. A word to the wise though- you really shouldn’t have to pay extra for all-the-time high speed data. If that doesn’t come standard in your plan, you’re probably not working with the best business cell phone service around.

A Quick Draining Battery The average businessman or business woman is constantly busy and on the go. As such, they don’t typically have a lot of time to stop and charge their phones. So, when a business person gets stuck with a phone that has a short battery life, he or she is often upset and demands a fix.

Unfortunately, this problem doesn’t really have much to do with the business cell phone service itself, unless of course, it provided the phone. If it did, then it might have cut corners and given out cheap phones or cheap batteries, which likely means it cuts corners elsewhere. If the phone was purchased independently by the buyer, however, the problem isn’t being caused by the service.  There are a few little things that can be done to promote longer battery life, however, such as:

Dimming the display on the phone

Turning off apps and programs that aren’t being used

Turning off app and program notifications

Performing a hard reset and seeing if that fixes the problem
