Celine and Arun finally met, and they hit it off really well. August was pleased that his best friend and his girlfriend were getting along.

Etta and Lou-Ann’s predictions had been correct. Deandre had pretty much abandoned his phone in favor of looking after his newborn daughters Shawna and Serena. While Celine, took little interest in the girls Deandre made it his goal to visit every weekend and sometimes he even made the trip after his long workdays in the restaurant. 

Celine: Well I’m glad someone’s excited. 

Etta tried to ignore it but Celine smelled different than usual but she thought it could be a combination of the new residence or some new soaps. Celine never brought up the fact that her clothes were fitting a bit too tight either so Etta knew better than to pry. 

Celine and Deandre still met up frequently. Though with things with Rory starting to actually blossom and go someplace, Deandre decided that enough was enough. There was no future with Celine and there was actually a chance with Rory. So Celine and Deandre broke off their regular hookups and decided that they were just going to stay friends. 

The awkward atmosphere persisted for a while though when Etta began getting sick, Deandre turned to Celine out of his worry for her and Celine was happy to provide it as a friend.
