Here’s my thoughts on Venus - Pluto aspects in synastry:

Generally Pluto brings extremity to whatever planet it’s in aspect to since this is the planet of rebirth and regeneration.

When in contact with Venus, the planet of love, romance, and beauty, it amplifies whatever feelings each person feels toward each other.

Pluto person wants extremely deep intimacy, something that transcends physical boundaries. Pluto wants deepness and spiritual/psychological transformation. This can be quite demanding for the Venus person.

Venus-Pluto aspects in synastry can feel like a deep, intense, and transformative kind of love. A consuming love. Primal.

Intense pull toward one another. The Pluto person is attracted to how the Venus person expresses their love and the Venus person loves the intensity of the Pluto person. The Venus person is intrigued by the Pluto person.

If this is a romantic relationship, their love for each other could feel painful at times. Unrequited love is a possibility.

Deep romantic, sexual, and soul connection. You both are heavily invested in each other.

The Venus person gives their love freely and without restriction while Pluto brings restriction and control.

The Pluto person may try to control the Venus person.

The Venus person may feel like they’re “under the spell” of the Pluto person.

Constantly evolving relationship. Attraction may go through many phases. In long-term relationships with positive aspects, their love can feel like it’s gone through many tribulations. Both may like the challenges they face together.

I've had a Venus-Pluto aspect in a romantic relationship. Even though it was a trine, many of these things were true. It was a very transformative kind of love.

Remember to look at the whole synastry chart! However, since this is a conjunction to a personal planet, it will likely have some relevant themes in your relationship.

A random compilation of astrology observations. This is all from my experience with the people around me so it's alright if some of it doesn't resonate with you. I hope you guys like this and can relate to some of these! 💕

🌼 Aries Mercuries + those with harsh Mercury - Mars aspects tend to steamroll over others when they talk, especially when they’re passionate or excited about something. Their voice really changes with their emotions. When they’re frustrated, they add urgency in their voice. When they’re excited, they speak animatedly. When they’re angry, they're curt and sharp.

Aries Mercury also like to pace or sway when they speak and they don’t even notice it 😂. Uses a lot of fast hand motions too. This is probably the same for Mercury - Mars or Mercury - Jupiter aspects. They like to fidget.

🌼 Capricorn / 10H Mercuries and Mercury - Saturn aspects' words are taken very seriously by others. People trust their opinion and think they have good judgment. They could have an air of authority when they speak that makes people stop, pay attention, and listen.

I have my Mercury in Capricorn and trine Saturn. My brother's Mercury is in the 10H. This is true (and a little strange at times) in my experience. I've noticed it happen to my brother also.

🌼 Leo Moons and IC's may “play dumb” or jokingly tease themselves to entertain their family members. They're probably proud of their family. They love their family’s attention and appreciation.

🌼 This is the dynamic when the fire Moons get together:

Aries and Sagittarius Moon like to tease others, likely the Leo Moon. The Leo Moon enjoys the attention but is the most likely to get their feelings hurt. The Aries Moon can dish it out but can't take it very well, and the Sagittarius Moon wobbles back and forth between letting others tease them and being the person teasing others. They take turns taunting and imitating each other. When these Moon signs get together, it's very interesting, fast-paced, and honestly hilarious. You need to have thick skin because they roast each other hard and nothing is off limits. They love to laugh and joke together.

🌼 Scorpio 5H / Venus in the 8H / Scorpio Venus is very private and secretive about their hobbies and interests. They could be very passionate about them to the point of being obsessive. They probably will keep the same interests for a long time. Could have interest in astrology/tarot.

🌼 Asteroid Karma (3811) in the 7th house probably finds a lot of weird synchronicities in their relationships. Their relationships are highly significant throughout their life and these are probably people they’re meant to meet.

🌼 Aquarius Mars avoids arguments or likes to stay silent during them. The people I know with this placement I rarely ever see angry. Their anger can seem unpredictable and surprising to others.

🌼 Scorpio Mercuries are very, very perceptive. I know a couple people with this placement. They pick up on any inconsistencies thrown their way. They’re the type to tune into others' body language and verbal cues. Their perceptiveness surprises people because Scorpio Mercuries are good at hiding that they’re analyzing someone. They file this information away for later to mention casually and you're left wondering how the hell they even noticed that :)

🌼 Midheaven in Scorpio might work alone the majority of the time in their career. Heavy Scorpio + Capricorn are the type to own their own business.

🌼 Where asteroid Adonis (2101) is in your chart can indicate what type of person you find attractive / our ideal partner. It's the masculine energy of asteroid Aphrodite (1388).

Ex: I have Adonis in Sagittarius in the 6th house at 20° and find it really attractive when someone is in control of themselves but also has a fun-loving side and I can laugh with them. Complexity is attractive to me.

Ex: Adonis in Cancer in the 1st house is attracted to someone who's up front about their emotions. Might like someone sensitive but also assertive. Might find it attractive when people come to them first.

🌼 Virgo / 6H placements (especially Moon) need structure and rules. They feel relaxed and calm when there's order. They're the type to always want to follow the rules and hate disappointing people.

🌼 I've noticed Moon in the 4H like to fix up their house by doing repairs and renovations.

🌼 Virgos with Cancer influence are probably good at gardening. My grandpa has his Moon in Virgo at 16° (Cancer degree) and he loves to garden. His Venus is also in Libra so he has a natural eye for beauty. He's very talented at gardening.

🌼 Aquarius Mercuries are not the kind to mince words. They're very analytical and logical, so if you ask for advice they'll be honest. They're a good voice of reason. Very fixed opinions. Hard to change their mind when they've made a decision. One person I know with this placement absolutely hates being told what to do and will rebel against them, but will later come to the same conclusion lol.

🌼 Those with earth signs in their social houses (3H, 7H, 11H) and if these are generally empty houses in their chart may find they communicate slowly, precisely, and deliberately. They take a longer time to process information but remember it for longer. They like to be thorough.

🌼 I’ve noticed the combination of Libra Moon + Virgo Mars makes someone a little nosey when it comes to people’s emotions. They really want to know what’s wrong, especially if you’re upset with them. It’s hard for them to let this go and will continue to ask you until you tell them what’s going on.

🌼 Leo influence on Mercury makes someone seem theatrical when they speak. They tend to move their body and their head a lot. They also use many hand motions to guide people along with their story. Is probably dramatic about random things. Mercury at Leo degrees (5°, 17°, 29°) like to stress certain words and have a unique style of speaking. They like to exaggerate and want their stories to be memorable.

🌼 Neptune in the 8H / in Scorpio / at 8° or 20° most likely enjoys listening to music with sexual undertones. I have Neptune in the 8H and at 8° and I can attest to this 😁. I have a whole playlist dedicated to sensual songs. I know someone else with a similar placement and they also like music like this.

Aries or Scorpio influence on Neptune might like intense and loud music. Might like rock, metal, or screamo. Aquarius might too.

Neptune at Cancer degree (4°, 16°, 28°) might like to listen to music from their past and childhood.

Neptune at Virgo degree (6°, 18°) may listen to music quietly. My friend has this and she listens to her music so freaking quiet I’m confused how she even hears it 😂.

Neptune at Leo degree (5°, 17°, 29°) might like popular music or maybe musicals? They probably appreciate the artistic side of music. I'm a little unsure about this one so take it or leave it :)

Astrology Observations No°1

Hey guys! This is my first astrology post! I’ve been studying astrology for a few years on and off, but I still feel like a beginner. I've never tried this before, but hopefully some people can relate to these or find it interesting 😊

Have you ever seen an Aries Mars and Scorpio Mars in an argument? Both know how to use their words as weapons quite well. This combination can lead to extremely heated and destructive arguments. The sheer amount of energy is also insane. In low states, they might resort to verbally hurting each other just to "get even."

Aries Mars / Mars in 1H might get so angry that it’s hard for them to communicate well sometimes. This could also depend on their Mercury and Moon placements. Mercury = how you communicate and Moon = how you regulate emotions.

Fire Mars could view arguments as a competition. They might be quick to get defensive when it comes to their ego. Air or Earth Mars (especially Virgo) might view arguments as a competition on an analytical level, like a debate. Or they approach arguments very logically.

Virgo Mars in an argument could be called “nitpicky.” They might like to focus on little details or words you use. They want what you say to be exact.

Capricorn + Aries + Scorpio in a chart = very sharp, dry, sarcastic sense of humor. Could be crude, even. Really good at delivering jokes deadpan.

North Node in the 4th house could make a person feel like they’re meant to have a family. Their family could also play a critical role (positive or negative) in their life purpose. I’ve noticed this could make someone very hardworking for their loved ones. There’s a possibility of wanting to support them and make them feel secure. Intuitive placement as well.

Lilith conjunct Mercury / in 3H could make someone very vocal about their rebelliousness. People could definitely find their voice or words sexy and alluring. Their power is their voice and ability to communicate. I get “take no shit” vibes from this placement. Could be a very vocal feminist supporter, too.

Lilith in Aquarius / 11H is very much about breaking the norms and doing their own thing. Could get a thrill out of shocking others or being unpredictable. Very sexually experimental. Also could be very big on activism and speak out about human rights causes. They could want to empower others.

Positive Sun - North Node aspects could find it easy to be in alignment with their life purpose, given that the Sun represents our core identity. This could also mean someone who shines brightly on others, whether this be in the public eye or lifting people's spirits in some way.

Libra represents others (relationships, partnerships, etc.), balance, and harmony. Moon in Libra / 7H can be really good at balancing their emotions at their best, but at their worst, they could too often put others’ needs before their own. Could have a hard time setting boundaries with others. They might have a very strong desire to help others.

Libra + Virgo placements in a chart could make someone very selfless. They might have a tendency to overwork themselves until they feel resentful. They work hard to create harmony, and they want to be recognized for their hard work. Acts of service and words of affirmation could be their dominant love languages.

Sun and Venus in Taurus are the epitome of quiet stubbornness. My brother has this placement. Such a grounded, stable energy to them. They take love very seriously, and the amount of loyalty, wow. I really admire that.

Neptune at a Scorpio degree (8° and 20°) / in 8H can make someone very intuitive. Could have very intense dreams / fantasies or have psychic experiences. A spiritual placement, too.

Mars - Pluto aspects create intense energy. This is the meeting of two volatile, harsh planets. This individual might need an outlet to express excess energy. Depending on how tight the orb is, their drive, passion, anger, or desire can be very transformative.

Negative aspects could mean there’s tension between their drive and transformation, and positive aspects could mean ease between the two. Overall, very passionate aspect. Could be prone to obsessiveness.

Moon conjunct Chiron / possibly Chiron 4H can indicate someone who has mother wounds. Their mother could have been absent or abusive in some way, or the individual could have resentment toward their mother-figure. I personally know someone with this placement. The individual could struggle with these emotions for a long time. Their healing of these wounds can be incredibly powerful and inspiring.

Where Chiron is in your chart indicates early emotional wounds. But pain is also an opportunity to transform and heal, which can be a beautiful thing. On a positive side, Moon conjunct Chiron or Chiron in Water Signs / 4H / 8H / 12H could also indicate someone very in tune with their emotions. High emotional intelligence. They could heal other's emotional wounds. This would probably be a good placement for a therapist. Empaths.

7H ruler in 3H - True about the possibility of meeting your future spouse young, through neighbors, siblings, or in your hometown!

Fun fact: My mom’s 7H ruler (Mercury) is in her 3H, and my parents met through my dad’s cousin when they were teenagers. Both of their Venus’s are in their 3H also.

Leo stelliums, especially in air/fire houses, are truly charismatic. They could have a tendency to attract drama into their life. Very good at sales. They could have a way with people and be very persuasive.

I dated a guy with a Leo 7H stellium - Mercury, Venus, and Mars - and, wow, these people are memorable. Enthusiastic, positive, and gregarious. Always seem to be in a relationship. Their shadow side could be prone to manipulation, but not always.

Capricorn Ascendants / Saturn in the 1st can make a person appear serious but also exude boss energy. Others might see them as very hardworking and diligent. They typically have sharp features, even if it’s just one feature of their face. In my experience it’s the eyes. Their teeth could also be noticeable in some way, either small, large, or they have a great smile. They may have a manner-of-fact “let’s get down to business” attitude at first.

Saturn in the 1st could indicate someone having a lot of karma or lessons to learn about themselves, their appearance, and/or how they approach life. A father figure could’ve also played a large, memorable role in this area as well.

Whichever house Sagittarius is in or the sign over your 9th house could indicate what you’re interested in learning more about.

Ex: Sagittarius in the 6th would like learning about new routines, their health, how to help others, or their career.

Pisces in the 9th house is probably very interested in spirituality, the collective, astrology, or something obscure.

No need to worry! It's manageable. A single aspect wouldn’t make or break a relationship. 😊

Note on harsh aspects: I think it’s a common misconception that harsh aspects (squares, oppositions, sometimes conjunctions) are really terrible in relationships. We actually need these aspects to create interest, awareness, and attraction. Any form of relationship whether that be romantic, platonic, familial, or professional helps us grow as a person. We need to meet people different from us to learn about ourselves and others. The more we’re used to there being differences between people, the less likely we are to be judgmental and critical of others for not fitting what we think is normal. This creates openness, acceptance, adaptability, and awareness - all of which are important skills in life and in relationships. My advice: embrace harsh aspects in synastry :) Whether a relationship works out depends on many other things besides astrology, too.

I had my Moon conjunct my ex’s Pluto (2° orb) so I’m familiar with Moon - Pluto synastry dynamics. I’ll be real with you, there were very prominent themes of manipulation, codependency, and extreme emotions in our relationship. It was incredibly emotionally exhausting/draining for me, but it was a pivotal and transformative relationship in my life. I do not regret it because it taught me what I need in relationships.

*HOWEVER, this may not be the case for you because each aspect can manifest positively or negatively, so please don’t think your whole relationship is unhealthy based on one aspect! There were many other indicators that pointed to our dynamic. Also, I just want to be clear, synastry aspects are never an excuse for manipulation.*

My brother’s Moon is conjunct my Pluto (also 2° orb) and we’re very close. I'm his older sister and I'll admit I have a tendency to tell him what to do, and he's told me before I can be overbearing. But we love each other and I wouldn't intentionally hurt him so I listen to him, make sure I'm conscious of his feelings, and respect this boundary he set. We still have a healthy relationship. This is what I mean by aspects manifest differently. Look at the whole chart and remember we still have free will.

Moon opposite Pluto (+ all Moon - Pluto aspects)

Karmic connection -> major emotional transformation

The Pluto person really sees the Moon person for who they are and brings up subconscious emotions

In romantic relationships, they're attracted to each other’s emotional and sexual magnetism

Vulnerability, depth, and intensity are main themes

On the negative side, obsessiveness and control issues could be present

The Pluto person might try to control the Moon person and the Moon person might feel easily manipulated

On the other hand, Moon and Pluto rule over Cancer and Scorpio so there’s a strong ability to relate to each other even though both planets are opposite in this aspect

Both find that transformation is often present in their relationship because the Moon’s emotions are very changeable and Pluto rules over transformation and rebirth. Hey guys! I wanted to create a detailed post on Mars conjunct midheaven / in the 10H (also called Mars culminating) because everyone in my family has this placement and I'm very familiar with it. Apparently it runs in my family 😂. Take a look at this:

Dad: Scorpio midheaven conjunct Scorpio Mars (4° orb)

Mom: Virgo midheaven conjunct Virgo Mars (0° orb)

Brother: Pisces midheaven conjunct Aquarius Mars (3° orb)

Me: Aries Mars in the 10H at 13°

Edit: Guys I just found this out - in my Mars persona chart I have Taurus midheaven 22°39' conjunct Taurus Mars 22°36' (so it's a 0° orb). This is crazy. Wtf is up with my family and Mars - MC aspects 😂.

I'll explain with these examples how the sign may alter the manifestation of this placement. For now, here's are some of the characteristics of Mars conjunct midheaven / Mars in the 10H:

Very tenacious, driven, determined, and headstrong.

Will throw themselves into whatever they’re working on.

These are action-oriented individuals. When they have goals, expect for them to try to achieve them no matter what it takes.

These people can be ruthless and fierce when it comes to their career or reputation.

They could be well known in their workplace for being dependable, hardworking, and natural leaders. Will often find themselves in leadership positions. Their strength is very apparent to other people.

Lack of motivation cuts deep (and I mean seriously deep) for these people. Their drive is a core part of their identity.

They tend to beat themselves up for making mistakes. Could be critical of themselves if they don't meet their high expectations.

Whatever they choose to do, they will try to be the best → very competitive. Might work well in a competitive field.

It’s hard to distract them from their goals. If there’s a problem, they acknowledge it and find a way to work around it, but they won’t let that stop them from continuing to work. Mars rules over wars, right? So when these people see an obstacle in front of their goal, they're strategic and will fight to achieve them - more so than others, and with more vigor. Honestly might steamroll over problems.

These people’s work is very, very meaningful to them and it’s likely a sensitive point for them → might overwork themselves or feel threatened if someone says something negative about their career.

Questioning their work ethic and intentions is a surefire way to be the focal point of their anger → Mars is the planet of war, passion, anger, and drive so these people need to work on controlling their temper in professional settings. Sometimes people have good advice to give and it isn’t a personal attack :)

Need excitement in their career (not necessarily something physically active or dangerous). They need to be passionate about what they’re doing or they’ll find it hard to be motivated. Remember motivation cuts deep for them so they’ll have a hard time handling this, but they’ll still get the job done.

Excitement can also translate into mentally stimulating work. They need work that steadily burns off their abundance of energy, whether that be physically, emotionally, or mentally.

They process anger or everyday emotions through working. Could use work as a distraction.

Good at asserting / advocating for themselves, standing up for what they believe in, and standing strong in the face of adversity.

Good under pressure and at making split-second decisions.

Values security and being successful.

People probably admire them and find them attractive for their work ethic. There's a certain rawness to them that's very powerful.

I think many of the above traits might be similar in synastry or composite charts. If you're looking at synastry or composite aspects, then you can infer some of the same things (they motivate each other, etc.) If the two people are romantic partners, Mars might take on more of a sexual meaning.

Mars in the 10H is in “accidental dignity” because Capricorn rules the 10H and Mars is exalted in Capricorn. It doesn’t matter the sign, if Mars is in the 10th house, it operates stronger here. Combined with my Mars being in its sign and degree of ownership, this is a very influential part of my chart. If you have your Mars in a similar position, you’ll probably strongly identify with Mars/Aries characteristics.

Very passionate about goals

Direct energy to specific areas (particularly work) with intensity, urgency, and enthusiasm

Put in leadership positions often and also like being in charge

Love having something to work on → gives sense of purpose and meaning. Becomes restless without a goal.

Themes of self-advocacy and confidence are important in career / public life → want to inspire others

Want a stimulating, engaging, and meaningful career

Like the uphill battle and obstacles to prove myself → values grit highly

The North Node overlaying the 1st, 4th, 7th, or 10th house will likely be impactful - even more so if the North or South Node conjuncts these angles (AC, IC, DC, and MC). When this happens, the Node person’s past and future are tied to the house person within the context of the particular house themes. The house the North Node points to can indicate skills or lessons that the NN person helps cultivate in the house person. You grow together in this area.

*Squares and conjunctions of personal planets (Sun - Mars) are also important aspects to the Nodes in synastry.*

North Node overlay the 4H

The 4th house is a complicated house because it’s represented by water energy. It’s our most private house, related to family, home, emotions, childhood feelings, memories, what makes us comfortable, and what we’re familiar with.

With the North Node here, the NN person activates these themes for the house person, possibly making them a little uncomfortable because these things are very private to them. However, these are life lessons both parties need to experience. It’s okay to be uncomfortable and also vulnerable :) The North Node person helps the house person get in touch with their emotions and helps heal past emotional wounds. These two feel safe and at home together. They have deep bonds that make them feel highly connected to one another. This is an emotional and nurturing kind of love. The 4H person might treat the North Node person like their family which helps the North Node person learn how to care for their loved ones. Since the 4H is opposite the 10H, the house person might have been focusing more on their career and work, and in this connection the North Node person helps the house person become more introspective, focusing on their needs as well as the needs of those close to them. They feel like they’re creating a foundation together which also helps them feel emotionally connected and secure. These people also might live together since the 4H represents the home.

I have one tricky placement in synastry with crush, his moon overlaying 5H my where my jupiter in sagittarius is there but 10° apart will this jupiter affect this overlay without conjunction ? Or it will show enhanced effect of overlay?

At the same time in same 5H {POF conjunct POF} is also 5° apart from jupiter

Moon overlay 5H in synastry:

The 5th house represents fun, romance, children, pleasure, and creativity.

Moon represents our emotional needs, self-expression, and how we feel nurtured.

The 5th house person may feel comfortable around the Moon person. They see the Moon person as someone they want to have fun with.

The Moon person feels like the house person is perfect for them and feels highly connected to them. The 5th house person helps the Moon person appreciate beauty.

Emotional and romantic attraction.

The 5th house person enjoys the attention from the Moon person.

The Moon person finds it emotionally rewarding to please the 5th house person.
