Reminds me of a sort of comfort toy you give to a newborn. Its like a being of pure happiness!

I love the scene in the movie where it's finally purged of the virus and its smiley face just lights up the screen.

Then that voice goes 'Willllllllisssss....'

I found it very humourous as a kid xD

Celestial Digimon Growing Up

Look at them. (Gif from digieggs but tumblr was being mean)

This is mostly based on their Frontier selves I suppose, but I feel as if Salamon especially sometimes felt as if she was the most mature one

Patamon has moments of being mature but also just being an utter fool, but because of his face we all forgive him (or at least, I do)

Lopmon is sort of the in between and goes along with whichever one is the loudest

Sometimes they all wreak havoc together, sometimes they’re spreading sunshine and rainbows

Everyone assumes Lopmon is the oldest just because of size, but it’s Salamon

Patamon is the middle child, but he always radiated middle child energy regardless

There was definitely a moment when whoever was supposed to be in charge of raising them told them they were going to grow up to be a trio of extremely powerful Digimon

They all ignored it because they’re KIDS (or the equivalent of)

Of the three, Lopmon is the most likely to have a dream that’s the slightest bit prophetic, but quickly forgets after waking up

Salamon becomes mediator whenever the other two disagree on something because she has the most common sense (most of the time)

All three of them are capable of getting away with anything just by making their eyes all wide and cute

In truth, there wasn’t anything really wrong with Seraphimon’s og design in the context of it being the final form of an angelic warrior. The problem is that he doesn’t really say “Seraph” beyond the angelic influence. So I aimed to change that. Like the other two, his body is separated from his head. Just like Ophanimon, his armor is a metal puppet of sorts and his head/true body is made up of six wings covering himself just like a traditional seraph. Alongside him, I’m also showing my next iterations for the other two Celestials. I’ve added digicode and some designs to their armor and holy rings. I also adjusted the number for both artificial and true wings to better denote rank and classical form. Seraphimon has 6 true wings and 8 artificial ones for a total of 7 pairs of wings as the highest ranking angel. The other two each have 2 less pairs each, and every angel below them would have even less. I’ve also decided on how I want their digivolution lines to develop. Seraphimon will digivolve through each of the highest ranking of the two lower spheres and the other two will go through the second highest and lowest ranking respectively. So it’ll go Principalimon > Dominimon > Seraphimon, ArchAngemon>Virtuemon>Cherubimon, and Angemon>Powermon>Ophanimon. I’m still debating on whether to keep their “official” rookie forms, but I have a lot of design work to do before worrying about that lol.

Apologies for waiting so long to answer this, but I wasn’t sure if the answer to this was short or long. Eventually I put it aside until I could figure it out.

I have since not quite figured it out, but here we go.

Frontier but the Celestial Digimon Got Different Spirits

Okay, so obviously the ones Cherubimon gets in this scenario are the ones the kids have in Frontier--so this means they got entirely different Spirits altogether

This also means that Koichi most likely got the Light Spirit and was brainwashed into Lobomon (or some dark version--haha, funny joke) rather than Duskmon/Loweemon

The series would have played out much the same, I think, but the kids would probably have gotten these Spirits instead:

Zoe got Water (I’m sorry to be so obvious A;SDJF;ADLKSJFAL;DSJ)

Koji got Darkness (again, sorry)

Steel, I think, would have been Tommy’s? Let the little guy be a total badass

Earth would have gone to J.P. and I don’t just say that because Grumblemon/food makes stomach grumble/horrible jokes

Takuya gets Wood for the sheer irony of nearly getting burned to a crisp by Agunimon (I like irony)

It’s possible Takuya got Steel and Tommy got Wood the last three were kind of hard to classify XD

The Beast Spirits for these five are a little terrifying (mostly Shakkoumon), so perhaps Ophanimon and Seraphimon would have kept them closer and not kept them from the kids as long as they did in the canon series

I mean, how do you hide Shakkoumon and then tell a kid “OH YEAH BY THE WAY---”

“What do you mean I have a way to take down the other Legendary Warriors”

So... yeah XD

Possibly differences in how canon played out--theoretically they might have had an easier go of it in this scenario, but otherwise it would still be Frontier

Also, the transformation sequences might’ve been a little less badass but that’s just me
