Will never get why Eric didn't use s&b to just adapt tgt. I mean I know his reasoning - but it's just so weird. One of the crucial things about the grishaverse is that Alina and Mal never meet the crows. That's like a Thing within the books. In SOC, Nina only mentions Zoya, and CK has Nina only interact with Zoya and Genya, whilst Kaz interacts with Nikolai. Even at the end of ROW, when Inej asks Nikolai who the woman with white hair is, Nikolai quickly says she's a "friend from the country", or something along those lines. Eric Heisserer took a look at soc, which has NEVER had the crows in the same room as Alina and Mal, and decided to...smash the stories together, which obviously did not work in hindsight.
