i think the biggest issue with book to cdrama adaptations is usually the fact that if they cast A-list actor for their ML, they need to put him on the screen. Usually in the books MLs, especially in the beginnings show up once a blue moon, but if you have actor high on billing... then well, you gotta make place for him in the plot. thus changes.

One of my cdrama pet peeves is wet look is actually semi dry, some droplets of water wet look. Like, if you throw your leads into water, commit to it?? They're getting dumped into rivers and whatnots and then come out barely dripping.

i finally figured out what bothers me about the fake forest in dramas. like, the trees and such look fine, but the green, perfectly mown grass is taking me out

if i had a nickel for every main lead/good guy chracter in cnovels being titled Prince Rui, and small villain being Prince Cheng, I'd have two; that is to say, I need to investigate more and also I agree with every author because Prince Rui sounds so good
