Context, this was a joke - but I love how offended Cyrus (Toon DogDay) looked.

Continuing off that previous joke - as me and my friends were watching Chapter 4... Germ sounds pretty close to Jer. So we joked it'd be hilarious if they were bitter ex's. I'm not exactly going down that route, but it was funny. Bonus Cyrus being upset that Jer had someone before the person Jer ended up marrying.

Context - Toon Doc wasn't expecting Cyrus to be alive. And keep in mind - despite the goofy expressions and his pacifist behavior... Cyrus is incredibly deadly. A successful experiment.

Context:

I am changing Toon Doc's death. Though they will need to weaken him by going to different sections, what does it is him taunting Jer about her husband. The one she wanted to save during the Hour of Joy, but couldn't get to. She snaps, and she beats him into the ground. Striking him over, and over again. Ripping out any organic scraps still inside him, until he stops moving.

Let's start with Cyrus. While you asked for a base, I think it'll also really help going into it more so you can see what I work with.

As you can see, I put a lot of focus on the head. It's not recommended, but I always try to nail a goofy or playful look for Cyrus first.

The X you see for the body here is meant to help me make the torso and hips even at first. I want to always start with a square for his body, as the next detail is important. That black rectangle is the belt Cyrus has. The more stressed he is, the tighter the belt, and the more his body changes from a block shape to an hour glass.

I try to then make either simple lines or think noodles for the arms and legs. I tend to ignore the feet until the very last point as well - prioritizing the thumb and pointer finger. From there, I draw a blobs for the other two fingers and figure it out as I go.

The smaller doodle you see is typically the placeholder I start with too. It gives me an idea on how I should try to work on the pose - but more importantly? How exaggerated his ears should be and their placement with his body.
