chobotics were responsible for making many amazing inventions that ricky never took the time to appreciate due to his sad and miserable life. though he didn’t exactly show a positive reaction to going to the science festival, but he later learns to ignore his problems with going to try and enjoy himself as much as he could, strange magical aura or not.

there were many interesting things to look at. though, if he had to be honest, he was a bit more interested in looking at the virtual reality theme park. he thought the invention would intrigue him in a way and he was a little excited to take a look and see how it worked. but of course, he told himself to wait. the best invention should be last, he tells himself. he wants to see if it’s really as good as any other invention in the expo, excluding the rem recorder since he would have to go to an FAQ for that and he did not have the patience or interest on having to go through that.

he decides to make the invention he sees first the angelic layer dolls. it’s been awhile since he had played the angelic layer game and hearing about there being a downloadable software and doll plug-ins made him curious on how they would work. not that he’d actually buy them, though. he feels like someone might laugh at him if they ever found out about the fact that he had any kind of doll and he didn’t like being treated as a joke. but looking at them wouldn’t be too bad, would it?

once he found them, he took a look at each doll in front of him or near him, hoping no one would look. but since he was so focused on the dolls, he doesn’t even notice that there would be someone next to him until he literally bumps into them. he’s ready to say something snarky and he lets it out when he sees who it is.

3. Nose kiss

“Honestly, I don’t know how you can be so damn cute.” 

Jimin sighed around a mouthful of fries. Beside him, Jisoo was much too busy with her milkshake (that Jimin bought her and still hasn’t thanked him for the little ungrateful--) 

It wasn’t odd for him to hop over to campus to catch lunch with perhaps one of the only high school friends that he cared to stay in touch with and today Jimin had some free hours to kill-- so it was almost a no-brainer that he would call up his favorite little cutie. 

“Jisoo, my love. Listen to me you little shit.” Hands cupping her cheeks and thoroughly distracting her from fishing out that cherry he mimicked her pout. “Amazing! So cute! It makes me want to smother you in love and kisses.” 

And that is exactly what he did, leaning forward and peppering kisses all over her face, causing peels of laughter to slip out of her lips as she batted at him in an attempt to stop. 

3: nose kiss.

joonmyeon looks down at his happy birthday to the best dad card, lips pursing to push back a fond smile. while -- at first, at least -- he wasn’t sure how to take being referred to as a father, the term has grown on him until he sees it as more of an endearment than a poke at his age. (it’s also quite true -- especially so when it comes to jisoo, whom he’s never been able to stop worrying about.)

he looks from the card back up to her, a shy smile resting, uncontrolled, on his lips as he reaches out to pull her into a hug. with how often he’s prone to worrying about being overbearing towards the girl, he’s glad to have little moments of affection and friendship to bring him back to a state of contentment and out of any insecurities he may dwell in.

pulling back from the hug slowly, joonmyeon leans close enough to press a quick, innocent kiss to the tip of jisoo’s nose before taking steps away. he looks down at his feet for a moment, timid embarrassment flowing over him at what may have been an action overstepping his boundaries, but the delight of receiving a thoughtful card hasn’t left enough for him to sink into further shame.
