Despite her arrival to Tonopah Falls six months ago, it still didn’t feel like home.. not like it use to did. It felt cold and harsh, at times even lonely .. it was as if the town was Dakota’s long-lost twin. By no means it was easy to leave New York, but fortis fortuna adiuvat .. or so she told to herself. The streets were familiar to her, and perhaps some of the people were.. just like she was to them. Yet perhaps she did like the fact she was still no one to them .. but that would change. Nothing lasted forever, it never could. — As she was leaving the hospital, it was with her first step out on the street that she ran into one face she knew, perhaps now more than ever before. “Cassie,” a smile that lasted only four a second or two before it was wiped off by the instant worry. “You okay? Don’t tell me you’re heading into the hospital?”
