Boomer's story is, once again, largely unchanged from his late arrival and having minimum lore to join.

He and Sam are old friends, Boomer knows about his multiple robot bodies and is not particularly for or against them. From a cultural standpoint it seems like he's cheating Lady Death's gift to the world, but from a personal standpoint he also knows losing a breath to the egg and rising tensions in the prison are stressing Sam the hell out. He wants his friend to be okay.

Boomer relationship with Hannah is mildly different as the egg is already dead and gone by the time they meet, so there's no eggpire related reasons for distrust, just the usual caution you give to a fae.

The prison break is where things shift slightly, Boomer gets scared of the power Oliver can wield and his apparent abandon of all principles. He wants to get out, find his family, and he wants Sam to come with him so they'll all be safe. Hannah breaks the news to him that Sam won't follow, he has unfinished business in Sempia... but Hannah can help Boomer get out.

Boomer makes a promise to Hannah to return to Hannah's home after five years, and Hannah promises Boomer that Hannah will always stay somewhere on the land Sam calls home. This way they can find one another again, and Boomer will be in Hannah's debt, protecting him from other fae. With this plan made Boomer uses Hannah's wilds portal to travel across far reaches of land and find his family.

The five years pass and Boomer returns the same way he went, he arrives back on Sempia. It's changed, but the change is good. People seem happier, and the prison is nothing but a pile of rubble with fences placed around and signs saying to not take the obsidian, it may not be irradiated but it's possibly cursed.
