honestly i’m not sure! the only thing i can say for sure is that it won’t be updated as i write, i make too many changes in later drafts to warrant that. it’ll mostly depend on how long it ends up being, i might look into publishing if it’s long enough?? but i’ll still be posting content for it as i write and i’ll give updates about that kind of thing for sure as well! i appreciate your interest!! unfortunately it’s just too early into writing it atm to know for sure haha;;

Kai has built up an immunity to most poisons ((which i say to mean smth like the most common/nasty ones??)) I can’t be….too specific bc some of this is a Big Reveal.. but!! i can say that it was a requirement of their education. 

kai has a really mysterious past, and the more we find out about it the more confusing it seems to get. bc so like. here’s how the scene goes right: 

kai gets hit with a poisoned weapon (a claw, a knife, a dart, i haven’t decided yet)

kai passes tf out, bc resistance/immunity doesn’t stop all the affects of real gnarly poisons 

everyone: shook 

they get to a hospital and the doctor is like ‘oh shit this is that Really Bad poison we don’t have an antidote for that??? but like we’ll do our best i guess 

((i feel like healers can only do so much in this world, like you can close up wounds and fix pretty big stuff, but i don’t think think even the best healing power would be able to just. cure everything. that seems op and…idk weird to me?? like the powers people have in this world are neat and some are really powerful, but nothing is like. infallible..i guess..idkanyway))

so, this scene happens relatively early in the story, before they really do a lot of World Saving, and it’s smth that comes up from time to time ((i may have gotten some inspiration from princess bride don’t look at me)) but like kai doesn’t divulge more than ‘oh yeah i had to do that for Reasons, don’t worry about it’

and everyone else is like ‘how can we N O T worry about that tho???’

and kai is just like: 

i think mina is the only one who has like an idea of what’s going on and is the most level-headed about the whole thing. ((tho like. callie grew up in a cult so this seems pretty par for the course for her tbh))

19. Do you know how your story ends before you start writing?

sometimes!! not always tho… like. so i’ll have a general idea

they gotta stop the war –> they’ll do that 

but actual endings are more of an up in the air concept when I start, because i usually start writing something before i’ll plan out the entire ending. which is maybe not great. but it’s the system that seems to work ok;;;

24. Do you have any abandoned WIP’s? What made you abandon them?

yes, i’ve abandoned many’a wip in my day (which my cp is VERY annoyed about lmao) usually what makes me abandon them is that I’ll think of a scene, and that’s it. like there won’t be substance to the story and it just exists for that scene, or a setting, and like. that’s not enough. 

the only wip ive abandoned for not that reason (at least that i can remember??) is my very first series, because it was. a dumpster fire. a necessary dumpster fire for my writing development. but a dirty fire nonetheless lmao. it was basically twilight but also there’s witches and also some magic agency run by an angel and also there’s a cast of about a million people who all have love interests and also
