Seeking Beta Reader(s) for Sapphic Cowboy/Debutante Fic set initially in 1898 Northern California who is knowledgeable about the time period fashions, linguistic patterns, social norms, etc and would be willing to help me make sure I am accurately portraying the time and also accurately portraying the Wine Industry, Railroad Industry, Cattle Ranching, Italian Immigrants, etc.
I'll worry about characterization so I am not worried about whether the beta reader is fandom blind or not because my main concerns are a degree of period accuracy (not seeking perfection, just trying to put in an effort).
It would be a Chessy/Meredith fic for The Parent Trap (1998) if that is important for anyone, but like I said I can worry about characterization and such.
Just realized that I have not yet posted about one of my favorite characters, Tareau Gobleu so here he is!! He’s a purpleblood cattle rancher who ran away from the circus he grew up in and now lives in a bronze blood town :3 He keeps to himself and mostly communicates by miming and signing! He also occasionally protects the town he lives in from outlaws but that’s really a hobby to him.
I love him very much but I think that’s because I love cowboys and clowns so what’s better than a clownboy

...the older I get, I have less need for contemporary culture and big cities and all the stuff we are bombarded with. I am happier at my ranch in the middle of nowhere watching a bug carry leaves across the grass, listening to silence, riding my horse, and being in open space.
