• so first he tries to get rid of the cat, he really didn’t want to take care of anything

• they all tease him about it like “aww she likes you!” “crosshair got a friend!” but it isn’t until tech mentions “abandoned kittens don’t survive in the wild very long and she would likely die in roughly a week with the state she’s in” that he decides to take her

• he just calls her “cat” because he can’t name for shit, and before he can change it she just responds to “cat”

• everyone sees her as a mini crosshair because she’s almost always on his shoulder, in his lap, they take NAPS together!! she also tolerates the batch, but loves crosshair the most

• he worries about leaving her on the ship all the time so occasionally he’ll carry her around in a little hip pouch if he needs to go out somewhere

• for the most part she stays on the ship. if they’re docked somewhere with grass and trees he takes her out on supervised walks with or without a leash

• i mean they besties what else can i say?
