Help out the people of Rio Grande do Sul!!
If you care about anything I've posted hear me out
You need to know what's going on in Rio Grande do Sul
They're going through an unprecented crisis due to immense flooding. THIS IS NOT A ROUTINE OR NORMAL THING TO HAPPEN THERE!
People's houses are literally floating away. Animals are drowning. People are getting terribly hurt and being left completely homeless out of the blue
One day they were living normal lives, the next the sudden flood either took everything away or left them stranded in what suddenly became an island surrounded by rubble-filled water
From what I've heard the Rios Grande do Sul state also suffered immense flooding last year and some were just now getting stable again after that, and in cane a flooding up to three times worse
The water is still going up. It is not stopping. The situation is getting worse
They're being left resource-less and incommunicated and from what I've heard this isn't even getting proper coverage within Brazil itself
Please listen to the actual Brazilians, I wanna help them out but I'm not Brazilian myself. Look up Rio Grande do Sul, see what's going on, see if you can donate to help them out
I'll provide some links to video coverage of the situation because
If you speak portuguese, thus video covers the current and last year's situation well as well as speaking on the lack of proper media coverage
Mauler Virs
An outside force has been attracted to Cyber activities recently. Something very malevolent and dangerous, but focused solely on retribution. They've destroyed most they came across, and infused what remains with malevolent energy. Corruption is a very strange phenomenon. Infusing Constructs with malevolent energy results in their appearance and purposes being warped in vile and alien ways, often turning the simplest of Constructs into deadly foes.
When a Sun Virs is corrupted, their bodies display little change at first, only showing horns coming from their top. When awakened, however, the corruption truly sets in as their routines activate, causing the malevolent energy to burst out of the shell like a dragon hatching from an egg.
This new form is known as a Mauler Virs. Due to the ejected mass, they are much more agile than their uncorrupted counterparts, and their arms are replaced with flexible blades of "Tenebrous Matter", which can be used for both mauling their enemies as well as grappling onto terrain to navigate.
However, due to the lack of traditional armaments, they lack a basic ranged attack. Mauler Virses make up for this in multiple ways; firstly, by being very fast. Secondly, they can create destructive shockwaves by stomping the ground. Lastly, should they be attacked in their exposed weakspot, they automatically retaliate by ejecting flares towards what hurt them.
Slumbering Mauler Virses are notorious for surprising Cyber forces, deceiving them into thinking they're a mere Sun Virs before erupting to life and subsequently thrashing the enemy Constructs.

This picture shows the origin of my fascination with hotels, especially decaying and abandoned ones. I wouldn’t say that it’s the source of my interest in urban expolration. That one goes further back to 1990, just after the Iron Courtain fell, but that’s a story for another time.
This photo here was taken in the late 90s, from what I can gather around Easter 1998. Until the early 2000s, my family always went skiing in the same holiday time-sharing village in the Austrian alps. Next to that resort was a huge hotel complex that always fascinated me. It seemed to me like a whole town under one roof and the name “Club Robinson” as well as the pools I could see through the windows were so exotic.
I was never allowed to go in, even though friends of my family stayed there instead of the other resort, from time to time. This added to the mystery, making it a black box for me.
Then it burned down shortly before we went there one year. It must have been a huge fire, devastating many parts of the building. Nobody was hurt, though news reports I can find on the internet say that guests had to evacuate in their underware.
This snow-covered ruin has burned itself into my brain since then.
Oh, and the hotel was rebuilt shortly afterwards. Since then it has survived another fire and is still open. I have to go there one day, but I never liked skiing.
