Yesterday my 20 year old cat Batman lost his battle with cancer. We had him literally his entire life as his mother was a stray that gave birth to him in a closet in our old house. He was a very well dressed boy whose favorite pastime was complaining, sitting in your lap and staring at you, and complaining while sitting in your lap and staring at you.

He was also 7 1/2 potatoes tall.

Truly a one of a kind cat.

In honor of him, I'd like to see your funny/cute pet pictures. They can be your current pets or ones who have passed on. And any type of pet is fine, I don't have any phobias for spiders or anything so you can share your creepy crawlies as well. Feel free to share stories about them too as long as they aren't too sad.

Also, if you send pics with them being measured against something absurd/more potatoes (and so long as you aren't putting them in any distress to do so), then you will receive an appreciative nod and thumbs up from me.

Accomodations

We'd run the phone cord behind the nightstand so you wouldn't chew it.

We'd put a lid over the pan of cooling oil so you wouldn't step in it.

We put a latch on your treat cabinet so you couldn't get inside.

We wouldn't leave glasses on the table because you'd knock them down.

We put a blanket on the cupboard because you liked sleeping there.

All these accomodations we made just for you...

Because you were clever Because you were curious Because you played Because you engaged Because you were present

And we keep doing them out of habit even though you're not here.
