Damas y Caballeros! Señoras y Señores!

Für uns geht es zurück nach Frankreich.

Gebucht haben wir für den nächsten Zwischenstopp nichts, wegen der anhaltenden Bauernproteste, die aktuell die Autobahnen blockieren.

Bis kurz vor Girona bleiben wir auf der Autobahn, denn da zeigen sich die ersten Warnhinweise.

Dann fahren wir über Landstraßen weiter.

Wir finden einen Reiterhof mit großem Turnierplatz und großem Parkplatz.

Hier frühstücken wir erst einmal in aller Ruhe.

Danach kann man wieder ein Stückchen Autobahn fahren...

... dann müssen alle wieder runter.

Die Polizei stellt sicher, dass der Schwerlastverkehr gut durch kommt.

Wir umfahren wieder weit räumig ...

Das ist uns sonst viel zu viel zu viel Trubel.

Um Figueres herum sind die größten Proteste.

Da müssen sich alle in Geduld üben.

So nett bleibt es nicht:

Kurz darauf schon wieder eine kleine Rudelbildung:

Da hat ein Fahrer gegen den Kapitalismus des Coca Cola Konzerns protestiert und die Ladung im Kreisverkehr deponiert.

Und hier kommt auch schon gleich die nächste Vollsperrung:

Und es geht über die Grenze nach Frankreich.

Da ist der Grenzübergang.

Frankreich ist erreicht!

Dann wollen wir mal die nächste Autobahnauffahrt suchen.

Angekommen auf dem Aire de Camping Car bei Beziers.

Es gibt Strom sowie Versorgung und Entsorgung von Wasser.

Duschen und Toiletten gibt es nicht.

Dafür kostet der Platz keine 20 Euro.

Das geht für diesen Preis in Ordnung.

De Salses a Guardamar i de Fraga a l’Alguer: les comarques de parla catalana una a una. 29/88: el Baix Llobregat (Barcelona Metropolitan Ambit, Catalonia).

Baix Llobregat (“Low Llobregat”) is a shire located where the Llobregat river reaches the Mediterranean sea, just south of Barcelona. It is considered part of the Barcelona Metropolitan Area, since some of its cities grow as a continuation of Barcelona as if it were the same city. Barcelona’s airport is also located in this shire.

An important part of Baix Llobregat is occupied by agriculture, since the soil is extremely fertile thanks to the sediments brought by the river. However, most of the surface is part of the cities, since this shire is one of the smallest ones in Catalonia and yet the 3rd most populated one.

Even though it preserves some architectural heritage and old city centres, these cities mostly consist of apartment buildings built in the 1960s to accomodate the huge immigration wave that arrived in that decade from Southern Spain, which triplicated the population of Catalonia at the time.
