"Weed cant help with pain levels! You must be lying" says the person who's likely never done weed once in their life and even more likely already has access to pain managing medication if they even need it.
A pain level is subjective
The scale doctors use today is subjective and arbitrary. One persons 4/10 pain is another's 9/10 and vice versa. The pain can be a 10/10 one day, telling your doctor it's the worst pain ever, then the next day it's even worse and you want to rate that a 10/10 but your doctor dismisses you because "theres no way you're experiencing worse pain when you've already said you experienced the worst pain in your life before"
Pain can always be worse. Not everyone has access to the right stuff to help it and not everyone is able to get a doctor to listen and help them.
My pain level is fluctuating and every day I learn a new worse pain. Cbd and thc help my body relax so my muscles arent tensing and worsening the pain as well as help sooth it.
It might not work for everyone but weed has a medical use for a reason. It works for others.
No one has any reason or benefit to lie when they say something aids their pain. If you still feel like accusing them, you're the one being ableist.
Let's stop pointing fingers and focus on what works for ourselves, what someone else does to manage their pain is neither your business or anything that effects your life.
