Square demonstrates money as communication - what other forms of transactions will we experience through digital technologies? As cash value becomes digitized beyond just the debit card transactions and toward new digital manifestations, such as that of Square's, are we simply transforming the tangible to the intangible for the mere fact that cash has predominantly always lived in physical form? Much like the way we are now trying to visualize and make energy tangible to bridge a closer relationship between ourselves and energy, will we then make efforts in the far future to reverse our advancements and return to physical monies?
