I got this general idea from a gentleman on @notes. So, I thought Iβd put something together for myself. Iβm going to be 61 this year and getting older DOES bring its own challenges. Not to mention that being labeled βBoomerβ is not the insult some think it is. Iβm not as quick to think of a word thatβs βon the tip of my tongueβ. Iβm not as fast, in general, as I used to be. And my memory, though far from being senile, isnβt as good as it used to be, Iβm ageing. But you know what Iβm not? Stupid. My beliefs, apparently are being considered βradicalβ, βleftistβ and even βsocialistβ. And, you know what? Put me in that category for these:
I donβt want a dictator, a man who ADMITTED that is what he will be on the 1st day. I don't want a king (we actually fought a war about that). I want ALL Americans to be free. ALL Americans, to have enough to eat, a roof over their heads, love WHOEVER they want without hate and discrimination. I want ALL Americans to have freedom OF and FROM religion. I believe, no, I KNOW, that abortion IS health care. I KNOW trans healthcare IS healthcare. I believe in separation of church and state. I believe in America and will vote with my conscience and with love for my country.
If this makes me lose friends, Iβm sorry. I donβt make friends with people I donβt care about on some level and I WILL miss you.
