Of all of the events I’ve performed Taps at. Honoring at the Carousel of Happiness was the most heartfelt for me. The owner built it in honor of two Marine buddies he knew in Vietnam. He would ask everyone to share a memory of someone they knew who had served and was no longer here. Over the weekend in not so sunny Colorado, Roman arrived and Win joined the trip for about 36 hours. Win and I had a mini Bike and Build reunion with Kyle, who lives in Boulder. We camped, hiked, rode the Carousel of Happiness and tried to find some sunlight to keep warm.Â
