hello kathy hi kathy i love you kathy!!! i have a lot of them and a lot i really want to finish but i've been working on this one post like 8x15 pre-s9 where buck is Going Through ItTM and i've doing good progress, so let me share a little bit of it just for you!!

His phone rings and it startles him from the slight profile shape of Evan's nose, it startles him from how much he loved tracing it and hear that giggle, so intuitive, so prompt.

His phone rings and it lands on his cheek, it stings.

Tommy retrieves his phone and feels his heart stutter in anticipation.

Sal.

He's meant to be on shift. Tommy sits up on the couch while accepting the call.

"What is it?"

"Get to Presbyterian."

The heart that was already squeezed tight in his chest turns into dust at Sal's tone.

"Who is it, Sal?"

He doesn't wait, though. Getting up from the couch, he grabs his wallet and keys and tries to slip his shoes on all at once. It doesn't quite work.

"Diaz and Buckley were in a car crash," His keys fall on the carpet while his shoe hangs from his foot. "Diaz had to be taken into surgery for a pneumothorax and a broken leg, all clean, should be easy. Buckley dislocated his shoulder and broke his forearm, also a clean break. Bruises and cuts a plenty but nothing major."

"Sal-"

"They're okay, Tommy," Sal says and there's the sound of an engine running in the background. "Chim and Hen are there already and I wanted you to know too."

There was a pause.

Tommy knew his best friend well, so well that Sal refused to play poker with him. He knew him well, they were lethal on a basketball court, on scenes when they worked together. They read each other like books. So Tommy knew Sal was holding something back, even as his heart threatened to jump out through his mouth, just as his lungs complained from lack of use.

"What else, Sal?" He keeps his tone strong, his knuckles white from where he clutches his keys in his hand.

"Great, let's go build a table," Chim smiles, clapping his hands. Buck starts following him to the dining room before his brother-in-law stops completely. "Actually, I saw this article earlier and it made me think of you."

"Oh?"

There's a thrill of being thought of, of being in people's minds when they see a specific thing and Buck smiles as Chim opens his phones, taps on his screen a few times. When he turns it, Buck frowns at the dark screen before a loud scream and a sudden ghost-like boy show up on screen.

Buck startles, Chimney laughs. 6 times now.

Your character (OC or canon tbh, just has to make sense for them to be in Ferelden during DAI) can be the one who helps Jowan not get killed during his most recent “mission” and they may wind up interacting with my Amell also.

This verse couldn’t be romance centered though bc obviously Jowan is taken by the lovely Warden Amell
