Early work, developed as an undergraduate, during a wierdly brilliant but dysfunctional meeting of minds, that required a devotion to subject, which became a part of much other far reaching extra curricular research. The core findings were featured in an illustrated article in issue 163 Nov/Dec 1997 Ceramic Review article on βlow temperature firing techniquesβ. I will find a copy and post it, as it is still relevant to my ongoing practice. I have continued my love of unorthodox collaborations/self curated shows that focus on specific research projects to do with βdifferentβ ways of seeing and doing, alongside my main solitary practice. I am looking forward to showing the results of the latest project, a big part of which involves wandering amongst the sacred spaces of this land, alongside my collaborators and my dog(s). The resulting interactive show is planned for next September. Round wobble bottoms which necessitated firing upside down, meaning the rim had to be unglazed, the edge showing a heavily grogged body (with fine granite clippings).
