new team torque is fascinating because alex and carlos have somehow figured out Yet Another Teammate dynamic where alex tries to subtly neg carlos "i'm not saying you're an average spanish guy but you are a spanish guy" and then carlos baits him into being explicit about it "are you calling me *average*? Are you calling me *typical*?" (brat voice) to which Alex responds "also fun fact did you know it's the Ultimate insult to call someone generic 😏" and then carlos tries to get revenge by also calling alex average "well Alex you're a typical looking guy, ok?" except he just accepts it and starts moving on But then carlos can't take it and goes "so we leave it there!? you leave me as average!?" and suddenly There Is a Jump Cut. carlos saying "i needed that ego boost. thank you" (straight voice) "yeah yeah, no problem, you ever need one i'm here" (supreme alex nonchalant bit voice) anyways
