does anyone know about the more so bad parts of zookeeping? ive been thinking about becoming a zookeeper to get to help protect endangered animals while also working with my non-endangered theriotypes. i know about zoochosis but im curious about other things

I love physics and I love space and when I grow up I want to get a job that allows me to study the reaches of our universe (and also I've always wanted to work at NASA because that field sounds epic cool)
BUT
I don't know if I want to spend years of my life studying one of the hardest fields on earth just for me possibly not to enjoy it
So I'm calling on you dear tumblr to help me decide if this is truly the career path for me. If not I'll just go into the arts like everyone else I know :3

Does anyone know what a job in the environmental science field would be like? Any jobs that include social lobbying and stuff? Anybody in the environmental science have a rundown of what their job looks like and how fulfilling it is? Ik there are tons of furries in STEM but are there any in environmental science too??
I was thinking about getting a bachelors in environmental science but i'm not quite sure what jobs i could specifically get and how fulfilling they would be, soooooo if anyone knows please lmk!
