hey bitches, i graduated back in 2020 but have only worked retail and substitute teaching since then (shout out to the pandemic and also my own strange little life). i'm tired of being poor and unstable but still have no specific career aspirations -- should i be trying to get a corporate job? how would i do that without being a recent grad or having any office experience? it's all very intimidating and i don't know what to do. thanks for any help you can offer <3 and thank you for all the work you do!!

The "should I get a corporate job" question is a tricky one. Because, well, corporate jobs sometimes pay more than jobs in other fields. But not always! I think you need to start a rather long process of exploration wherein you figure out a) what you're good at, b) what you can do that won't drive you crazy, and c) how you can parlay those skills into the highest paying job possible.
