Ingredients: 12 cups popped popcorn. 1 cup cooked bacon, chopped. 1 cup brown sugar. 1/2 cup unsalted butter. 1/4 cup corn syrup. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1/4 teaspoon baking soda. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
Instructions: Set oven temperature to 250F 120C. Pop the popcorn, add the chopped bacon, and set the bowl aside. Melt the butter, add the corn syrup, brown sugar, and salt to a saucepan over medium heat. As the mixture boils, stir it. Boil for four minutes without stirring. Take off the heat and mix in the vanilla extract and baking soda. Watch out because the mixture will start to bubble. After carefully stirring to ensure even coating, pour caramel mixture over popcorn and bacon. Arrange the coated popcorn on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
