Reggie ran a hand through his hair before pulling his watch out of his pocket to check the time again. That was it. They were officially an hour late, and Reggie didn’t even actually know who he was meeting. It had been set up for him to meet someone “who really wants to hear about your services for a foe glass repair.” Reggie hadn’t thought it sounded particularly exciting anyway, but they must not have wanted to keep their foes away too closely. Or they’d already come too close. Best not to think about it.
With a sigh, Reggie leaned forward to look out at the bar. He’d gone to that typical booth near the corner--but not corner enough to draw suspicion after all--that shady business tended to go down in. Reggie did, and he’d started doing so because he knew others did more than because his stuff was shady. Really much of Reggie’s was almost up and up, if you were willing to overlook where most of his wares had come from. But was dumpster diving really a crime?
Reggie managed to catch Caradoc’s eye and raised a brow. He didn’t know if it would be enough to get him to come over, but if it wasn’t, Reggie would gladly head over himself. He wasn’t too fussed.
