Master List
If you like piĂąa coladas and getting caught in the rain...
Kidding. Sort of (because I do like a good piùa colada). These stories are for anyone who:
Canât get enough of Team Cap
Is dying for strong, capable, and confident female reader-inserts
Enjoys the occasional, drunkenly-written crack fic
Is desperate for an adventure of their own
I hope you enjoy these stories as much as I loved writing them.
CAN YOU TELL ALL OF THESE COMPLAINING SCRUBS THAT IT TOOK ME WEEKS TO CONVINCE YOU TO WRITE AND PUBLISH AGAIN AND I WOULD REALLY FUCKIN' APPRECIATE IT IF THEY DIDN'T UNDO ALL OF THAT BEGGING I HAD TO DO?! Also - I love you. But you know this already.
Just dropping by with some Oreos and words of encouragement since this evening proved to be a shit show. I hope that original anon sees all the support theyâre getting!
I hope that too! Thanks for the love and the Oreos. They are much needed!
I love how I closed Discord just to open Tumblr and see this ask haha. You just want me to tag you with that new tag, dontcha đ Let's go then:
Hey Hann! Whatcha got for 24?
24. What do you want right this second?
Oh, god. For tomorrowâs audition to go well. For me to actually get cast.

Losing My Religion
Title: Losing My Religion Pairing: Steve Rogers x Reader Type: One-Shot Word Count: 520
Summary: When everything Steve had faith in abandoned him, he abandoned you. But a close-call makes him second guess his decision.Â
Warnings: A little angst? Angst-lite?
A/N: This little ditty was inspired by old Greyâs Anatomy episodes. Where are my fellow Merder fans at?
There are lines directly from Greyâs in this post. They are not my own.Â
If you happen to reblog, thank you for helping me spread my work! You can find more like it over on my master list.Â
âIâll be right back, Iâm just going to get another drink.â
The guy youâre dancing with nods at you as you break away to get some space. These gala events at the Tower were usually fun, but tonight you feel suffocated. It wasnât the crowd of people or the volume in the room. Certainly not the amount of tequila you had been drinking.
It was the way he was looking at you.
Grabbing the skirt of your gown, you glide through couples dancing and make your way to the balcony. The crisp November air hits your skin, but the heat radiating through your body dulls the sensation. Gripping the railing, your eyes fall over the New York skyline before you close them.Â
âThought I might find you out here.â
Call Sign: Renaissance // 01
01. Wheels Down
Pairings: Steve Rogers x Reader, Sam Wilson x Reader (platonic) Chapter Summary: Youâre on a diplomatic mission in the small, Latin American country of Neruda when an old friend interrupts your peace-building meeting. Word Count: 1133 Warnings: language, political unrest A/N: This first chapter is all about setup. Iâve kept it short, but you can expect each chapter to get longer and longer from here on out. For clarity:
Neruda is a made-up country
If you see italicized lines, they are internal thoughts
Special thanks go out to @sugarfreecapsicleâ and @star-spangled-man-with-a-planâ for betaâing this for me and @sleepingspacedragonâ and @helladoomâ for proofing the Spanish dialogue! I adore you all.
The tension in the room is thick. Voices are competing for agency, looking to dominate the conversation on behalf of their respective groups.Â
Itâs hot. Humid.
The flickering neon light overhead has started to buzz. One of the guys next to you keeps clicking his pen against the table.
All of this, compounded by everyone shouting over each other, causes tempers to flare even higher.Â
It wasnât uncommon in these situations. Peace-building meetings were rarely peaceful.
You understand, thereâs a lot at stake. Just not for you. This isnât your fight. Itâs your job to stay diplomatic. Negotiations like this are often a raging tempest, you the calm in the storm.
In between the screaming and yelling, you work to ease the friction.Â
âParece que hay un desacuerdo sobre el nĂşmero de escaĂąos que cada facciĂłn recibirĂĄ en el Consejo de Seguridad. ÂżQuizĂĄ se podrĂa negociar?â
Translation: You arenât going to agree on everything. Letâs compromise, people.
You arrived in Neruda six months ago at the request of an Under-General-Secretary of the United Nations, Oswald Mosley. Heâs had you on his short-list of conflict resolution consultants ever since you brokered peace in Cyprus when his guys had been at it for a year and a half with no luck.
The conflict in Neruda isnât unlike others youâve dealt with. A year ago, the Latin American country had a promising outlook. It ousted its longstanding tyrannical government in favor of a more democratic one, but creating a government from scratch is messy work.Â
Disagreement gave rise to division. Division gave rise to violence.Â
After months of unrest, the political factions agreed to sit down and work out their differences. Thatâs where you come in.
