He’s sadistic. and he’s not the red hair pirates babysitter. He isn’t teaching shanks about manners he’s rude himself.

He’s off-putting. When he’s older he sits in his own little area away from the team. but with that being said he’s also a very caring man at his core. Especially when it comes to kids, like luffy and uta.

He gets mischarcterized the same way zoro does. Because he’s serious and in becks case, level headed. So that must mean he never smiles and thinks the crew are idiots right? Well, no.

Beck joins in on the teams fun a lot and smiles maybe even more often than he frowns. (Particularly when he’s younger) he’s a strange man. He’s not normal by any means. He can be distant at times but also fun in others. He is sadistic but he is also sweet. He’s wise and violent tough and soft. He loves his crew and doesn’t see them as a burden. Even if they can be exhausting.

There's so many different character interactions I want to see in One Piece, but my Number One Seemingly Odd Interaction I need to see-

Killer and Buggy.

And it may sound like a random pair, but hear me out.

Both of them, the best friend (or former best friend) of their red-haired, one-armed pirate captain. Both of them, the second name following that of their other half. Both of them, second fiddle to the men that history will remember.

But the thing is that both of them go about it so differently! And the key difference isn't even from themselves - the biggest difference between them is how different their CAPTAINS are.

Killer supports Kid wholeheartedly, would live and die for him. Kid wants to be at the top and Killer wants to get him there.

Shanks, on the other hand, was full of just as much promise and potential as Kid, but he wasn't ambitious. He was happy without needing to reach the top, even though he could. And Buggy couldn't accept that because he knew Shanks could be the best - the best that even Buggy couldn't be - but Shanks didn't even want to try. It's why they could never be on the same crew; Shanks had the ability but not the want, Buggy had the want but not the ability.

It makes for such an interesting juxtaposition between both characters, and even more so for what both of their roles could be as we near the end of the story.

I desperately need to see them talk to each other, especially after Shanks v Kid. I get the feeling that they would be at each other's throats a bit, but Buggy may have a strange bit of sadness/bittersweet pride in Killer. lf the future had gone the way Buggy had thought it would, he would be at Shanks's side like Killer was at Kid's. It could've been different.

Maybe Killer can see it to - he can see it in the way Buggy looks at the ocean when he talks about Shanks. Maybe it's the first time that Killer ever asks himself the question. Not the question of what would he do without Kid, because he asks himself that question far too often, terrified at his own answers. No, this time he asks what would Kid do without Killer? The answers are even worse.
