“Where is it? Where is it?” the Captain repeated as she looked around her office.
“A-ha!” she cried as she picked up a scroll containing a message from Sir Nevalle himself. A message that she’d read several times prior, but she wanted to read it once more. The illustrious member of the Neverwinter Nine, coming to see her a talk about expanding the ranks of the City Watch? It was almost too good to be true. She’d been pushing for increased the size of the force ever since crime had jumped on the Docks. And finally, after her long efforts, it looked like she was about to be rewarded.
Knock-knock!
“Come in!” she said enthusiastically.
