My first ever posted fanfiction. It's so short, yet je suis vraiment fatigué! I'm in awe of those of you who can write longer works. I started it as a way to start coping with Degra's death (ENT: 'The Council'), but I think I just made it worse. I'm not too chuffed with it, but there's only so much I can do. Do you think that, when T'Pol suggested a Risa vacation to Captain Archer her reasoning went something like this? "Doctor Phlox has informed me that many human males find sex exhausting. Therefore, if I facilitate a 'hook' and an 'up' for the Captain, he'll have far less energy for getting himself into trouble."

Listen, I normally don’t hc characters as trans away from their canon gender/presentation for uh reasons idk, but the one exception I will make is for Jonathan Joanna Archer. Like, picture this: she comes back from shore leave on Earth with breast forms under her uniform and what she hopes is a realistic wig, comes out awkwardly to her senior staff, who are all just like “cool, congrats on the self discovery, so anyway about that space exploration-”, except for Trip who is all like “yeah I’ve suspected since like a month after we met but good on ya for figurin’ it out” and T’Pol who is like “I see, you as well” (because trans T’Pol is canon to me). Joanna being an awkward duck trying to transition and also run a starship while already being semi-famous, and her crew (and society bc if we don’t have trans rights by the 22nd century what are we even doing) is unilaterally very supportive but that doesn’t make it any less of a hectic process and jfc if it’s not the Romulans or the Tellarites or some other weird space phenomenon it’s trying to figure out how to do makeup or decide if she wants to try e. Do you see the vision? Do you see it?
