I SAW YOUR TAGS OF WANTING ISEKAI MANHWA WITH PARENTING AND I GOTCHU FAM

OKay so there’s actually pretty few isekai manhwa’s of parenting but the ones i’ve read so far are great (in my opinion anyway). If you enjoy aristocracy stuff and the medieval fantasy setting much like in most isekais, some of these that dont have the isekai part might be good enough

anyways, i’ll keep it few probably but yeah! (these aren’t rank in any order) 

1) Step Mother’s Marchen

Status: Ongoing (did just finish season 1 as far as I know )

Premise: Time Travel Isekai where commoner girl(shuli, the female protagonist) gets married to an aristocrat (who has children) and goes thru a lot of shite and on the day the eldest son is gonna get married and take the place of being head of the family, she gets returned back in time and gets a second chance to basically do better 

Why i like this: uhhh good art??? Isekai??? strong female lead??? fAmILY and Parenting TRope ???? what more could you ask!? it’s fantastic! despite the excitement in my enjoyment of this, it’s a very “quiet” manhwa with slow-ish pacing as it deals with political aristocracy and how to deal with that; which is often times dealt with a lot of elegance, i guess. It’s beautiful and fun and in a lot of parts, heart-warming because it’s about a girl that has suddenly became the head of a prominent family and a parent of 4, of which the eldest is almost the same age as her  (albeit when isekai’d, she is mentally older) and being given a second chance to really make the family she was put into, really her family or atleast give them a future she couldn’t give on her first run. I have a lot of love for this manhwa YvY (also, no, the eldest son is not the ML as far as I know which is great)

2) I raised Cinderella Preciously

Status: Ongoing 

Premise: Transmigration Isekai where the plot is cinderella except the protagonist wakes up as Mildred, The stepmother, 2 days after she hears about her husband’s death. Realizing she’s in a world and story of what seems to be a cinderella plot where she has two daughters and 1 (very beautiful) step-daughter, she goes to raise her children properly and hopefully give them a good future

Why I like this: This story is half romance, half parenting. The sisters are already teens and the plot is basically Mildred trying to give her kids good futures and marriages. There’s currently like 30+ chapters as I’m writing this but there’s already a lot of parenting moments that are just super good to me? because, despite the romance, Mildred’s first and foremost priority is her children and how to be a good example to them and liKE kjsngksdg i just. it just hits me nicely in the heart with how she does things for her kids and it’s great, top tier content

3) I Became the Hero’s Mom

Status: Ongoing

Premise: Transmigration Isekai where a girl, in her past life was a super fan (stan?), wakes up suddenly in in her favorite novel before the main events have occured. She goes on to live her life while sending gifts and pursuing to make her favorite character’s life easier and the Dad of favorite character mistakes  her persistence and affections as the protagonist’s unconditional love for him and think it’s a proposal for marriage and he decides to accept. She gets to be the hero’s mom.

Why I like this: At the moment, this has about 25+ chapters as far as I know but there’s just,,, a couple scenes in it that just really hit me?? it’s not the best parenting, it’s not the best romance, by any means but both the dad and the protagonist are just doting and affectionate to the kid (who is absolutely fuckin adorable and also the tiny child has insecurities as an illegitimate/adopted child) and like, idk. I’ve already cried once to this manhwa and it’s so fun so far YvY

4) The wolf who picked something up

Status: Ongoing (BUT non-chronological as far as I’m concerned. it’s rather episodic)

Premise: Story about a cool asf wolf pack leader who picked up a tiny golden retriever pup dog and tsundere-s his way into becoming a dad to said pup. (this seems to be for fun comic for the most part and it even has AUs and stuff so yeah)

Why I like this: If you want something light, cute, comedic with some nice and soft fluffy and beautiful art, this is pretty good. is it good parenting? no xD. but like, it has that clueless child, reluctant parent but tries anyway kinda thing which I enjoy ngl

5) My Daughter Grew Up to "Rank S" Adventurer

Status: Ongoing

Premise: Story about an ex-avdenturer who picked up a young child and raised her where she grows and sets off to her own adventure/journey and becomes an S-class adventurer. A story about a daughter that really admires her dad and just wants to go back and spend some time with him like the old times but the world seems to wanna just cause issues against that.

As a woman of the bi-persuasion, myself, I get where your friend is coming from... and honestly the only character that comes to mind right away as being Bi are Simon Snow from Carry On and Adam from The Raven Cycle.

So sadly no personal recommendations to make, other then those two... but I do have some titles on my TBR-list that I’ve yet to find in my local libary, so maybe they can provide some inspiration.
