Here is One of my earlier pieces from 2014. “Harmonia” Thought of the day… One of the things that nobody tells you about being an artist is that often when you’ve worked your ass off towards opening a solo show, and the deadline comes and the show opens there is a huge relief and it’s exciting and there’s this hype… but then you have this realisation that you’ve got to go back to your studio and get to work the next day… and sometimes that can be easier said than done. in the past I have had a hard time getting motivated and knowing what direction to head next.. But In moments like this I have found it’s best to be easy on one’s self. Creativity and a state of flow are not things that can be forced into being so I just let it come when it feels like it and I keep myself busy with things that aren’t too serious and remind myself what fun making art really is.
