It’s in bloom.

"Entre pétalas e pedra"

No primeiro plano, pétalas caídas. Espalhadas pelo chão como se tivessem sido deixadas por um vento calmo — ou por alguém que passou antes, e não voltou. Ao fundo, uma capela pequena, silenciosa. Nem grandiosa, nem esquecida. Apenas ali, presente.

Entre as duas coisas — pétalas e pedra — há espaço. Um intervalo. E nesse intervalo, o tempo parece ter parado. Não há pressa. Não há movimento. Há uma tranquilidade quase suspensa, como se tudo estivesse à espera de alguma coisa que nunca chega.

A fotografia não força nenhum gesto. Não procura dramatizar. Só observa: o que caiu, o que permanece, o que se equilibra entre luz e sombra.

Talvez tenha sido apenas isso — um instante apanhado em silêncio. Mas é também por isso que permanece.

"Between Petals and Stone"

Between the two — petals and stone — there's space. A pause. And in that pause, time seems to have stopped. There’s no rush. No movement. Just a stillness, suspended quietly, like everything is waiting for something that never comes.

The photograph doesn't insist. It doesn’t dramatise. It just observes: what has fallen, what remains, and what floats between light and shadow.

Maybe it’s just that — a moment caught in silence. But maybe that’s exactly why it stays with us.
