Pretty good haul yesterday. #cd #brujeria #brujerizmo #midnight #satanicroyalty #cannabiscorpse #bluntedatbirth #goatsnake #flowerofdisease #dyingfetus #wrongonetofuckwith #goatwhore #vengfulascension
Y'all see Hallhammer ollie over his kit in the new THRASHER? Shit yeah, my dude can skate (and drum) his ass off. Cannabis Corpse is on break for the summer but you can catch Josh drumming with the homies Gatecreeper on tour now and Land Phil at Warped Tour with the Waste all summer. New Cannabis Corpse album coming at the end of this year via Season of Mist, I'll do my best to get the back catalog vinyl back in print around then as well. #skateboarding #weedsmoking #cannabiscorpse #thrashermagazine #
Cannabis Corpse - Beneath Grow Lights Thou Shalt Rise. I love this band so much. 🔥🔥🔥
ALBUMS OF THE WEEK! These are the nine albums that got the most plays out of me. I’m so excited about this entry that I got up early to write it, as there is some awesome stuff here. The clear winner was Sanguisugabogg’s Tortured Whole (released yesterday). This is filthy death metal with extra gurgly vocals and a psychedelic sense of humor. Blasting this one is an absolute delight. Speaking of gurgly vocals, Wicked Innocence’s Omnipotence is here with a technical death metal album from 1995 that has aged like wine. This band was way ahead of its time. My band discovery of the week is definitely Wode, a UK-based black metal band that instantly caught my attention and affection. Wode fits nicely in that place in my heart typically reserved for Tribulation, Cloak, Slaegt, and maybe Dissection. I hadn’t heard of Wode last Saturday; today I own their entire discography (new album comes out next week!). Finally, I discovered Vermineux, a Minenwerfer side project that is based on medieval wars and scratches that underground black metal itch. ☠️ 1. Sanguisugabogg - Tortured Whole (2021) 2. Death - Symbolic 3. Wicked Innocence - Omnipotence 4. Cannabis Corpse - Beneath Grow Lights Thou Shalt Rise 5. Wode - Wode 6. Bolt Thrower - The IVth Crusade 7. Vermineux - 1337 8. Rimfrost - Rimfrost 9. Sulphur Aeon - The Scythe of Cosmic Chaos ☠️ What was on your playlist this week?

#vcabc2020 Letter C: Cannabis Corpse - The Weeding (EP).
Cannabis Corpse - Nug So Vile.
Here is Part 2 of MPV’s Top 30 albums for 2019. To recap: rankings are based not only on music quality, but on data regarding my own personal listening history. Newer albums might be ranked a little lower because I haven’t had as much time to fully digest them. Conversely, older albums may have been disadvantaged by the onslaught of new releases. Regardless of where the album lands here, it has my seal of approval and glowing recommendation.
